With this feedback, Microsoft came out with Office 365 (subscription based only) versions and Office 2016 versions sold at a one-time retail price and you own it forever. Since I no longer have a disc drive I love that I can just download it. It's think it's a great idea to pay the annual fee and getting all upgrades! This way I'm always on top of the updates. I love that I can use this on my laptop and my iPad. I'm happy with the product.
