Thought the first one was defective...took it back and got another one. This one is the same...no touchscreen - gave up. The laptop itself is ok but still I didn't get what I paid for. And yes, I did contact the geek squad and basically got a "DUH..." Checked the laptop's properties and it reads "No pen or Touch input is available for this display". Tried to contact Toshiba got some crank who told me my laptop was polluted with virus and malware and tried to sell me a $100/yr program to protect it.

I need word and power point mostly, which I use for school work. I did not like that office only sells digital subscriptions that auto renew. I would prefer to purchase the software once or have it preloaded on the computer. That is my only complaint. Windows is a good operating system and functionality has been perfect thus far.
