Not a huge fan of the renewal fee each year to have usage. Guess I'm old school, once you have the programs installed you're all set. I also hope that with ever changing technologies each renewal also comes with upgrades.

The apps were already downloaded to the computer so the registration key activated them. We'll see how Microsoft handles this when the 1 year "subscription" is up. I wanted the apps only without having to pay for the yearly updates, but the Best Buy associate wasn't sure how it would work. We'll see. So far the apps are working fine.
