I prefer buying a lifetime license instead. I am sure the office package is good, however I do not like the subscription model, which is why I am giving a low score.

Microsoft office, with its annual contract, is a prime example. Why do I have to pay every year to keep this program running? Why can't there be a one time purchase option? And why does an individual home user like me have to pay as much as someone who uses it for business?
