With this feedback, Microsoft came out with Office 365 (subscription based only) versions and Office 2016 versions sold at a one-time retail price and you own it forever. However, I am not a frequent user, and I do not like the Auto-renewal plan where they make you give your credit card information in order to activate the product & then charge you automatically after 1 year. I would like to have some choice in the matter of when I am in need of their service.
