It is printed on my product that I can download Office on “up to 5 devices “. When I tried on my 2 nd device, it would not let me. It is limited to only 1 download. I called, brought in the printed paper, the employee said, “yes, that is misleading, sorry”.

I really like that Best Buy gave this as a bundle for my new Acer Chromebook, slashing the price down to $49 as part of Student Deals. It's great whenever you don't have internet and it helps to have backup all the time. PowerPoint, Excel and of course, Word have been my mainstays for all school and work related documents.

I bought 365 as a bundled deal which also came with a mouse and Kaspersky Security; which I didn't want at all. However, the price was still cheaper than buying 365 alone.

Very upset. I purchased this and then when I put in the code it said the code had already been used. So all that money waisted. Will never purchase it from Best Buy again.

I like the idea of the Office 365 subscription because it is more cost effective than having to purchase and own a packaged program that tends to be unsupported after few years.

Easy to activate and perfect for personal or school use. The 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage is very helpful for backing up files. Includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Works smoothly across my devices, and updates are automatic. The subscription model isnt for everyone, but it's reliable and convenient.

The good thing is that it's the full suite of Microsoft Office products that stays updated to the most recent standards and coolest new features. Obviously Office is the standard for most business applications.
Next, it's inexpensive to get into compared to permanent licenses.
If you change out your PC's regularly i's not a bad option. It's also a good option if you have multiple computers in your house or small business that you wan't to keep at the same standard for continuity. (You need the 5pc version for that to be clear - this version is only one license + a tablet).
The bad - you need to renew every year. That's an annoyance and just a new way of Microsoft making added revenue. If you intend to keep your personal PC or Mac for more than 4 years before you replace it you'll probably be better served with a full life license even though it costs more. Also, on a Mac for a student or personal use Outlook is overkill. Mac Mail works just fine and supports Exchange servers. Microsoft's basic application in Windows is awful so Outlook is really a needed upgrade. Mozilla Thunderbird is a good replacement as an email client but doesn't support Exchange servers.
Bottom line: Business power users who change out their travel toy every year because you deduct it or expense it - definite buy. Others, think hard about how long you'll have it or what you'll really use it for before you make the leap to the attractive price point.
