All programs, Excell, Word, Outlook especially are used frequently and enhance previous versions in addition to being easy to work with. I have used Microsoft Office versions for the past 30 years and these met my expectations.

It works, it's boring, you're used to how it works from your computer at the office... You need it more than you want it. I wish, however, this was built the old way-- software you could download and own rather than having to subscribe to something. But... oh well.

I think it’s a little unfair that you have to “rent” it now and renew every year, but if it’s going to give me updates to the package when it renews, then it might be worth it.

They can word the advertising any way they want, but as they say, a pig wearing lipstick is still a pig. Yes, it's MS-Office, the same one you're familiar with, however you'll pay a monthly charge for it...forever. I just don't care for being tied into it so M/S can make more $$$ and have even more say in our lives.
