This was originally cost-effective if you used the cloud storage. However, Microsoft has recently increased the price by $30/year with the forced addition of Copilot, despite its dubious usefulness. Microsoft offers a way to "downgrade" to the Classic version (keeping the original price and features, without Copilot). Unfortunately, if you purchased your subscription through Best Buy, this is not an option for you. Best Buy refuses to allow this downgrade option. It took two hours with support and 12 transfers to find this out. There is no way to purchase the cheaper "Classic" version without downgrading an existing account, which Best Buy will not allow, which means you are locked into the more expensive version with no alternative.

It ok the if the computer has pre loaded programs I think that would do just fine for most stuff

Now sure I like the new format they sell office in (subscription) but the program is sill the best one out there

Great collection of software, most of which I may never use. It does have my requisite components of Access, Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Still trying to decide how I feel about a subscription versus owning the software...ok so far.

It can take time to do the download and setup. Works well enough

Microsoft has gotten better throughout the years for Mac...And this version doesn't disappoint AT ALL...

This is the current subscription way to get Office programs. It replaces my older version which was a one time purchase. It will cost more in the long run,

I purchased office 365 personal last month and it was easy to install. Just typing the code from the front of the card You receive. I honestly did a mistake in the installation process and retyping the code more than one time caused an error in downloading the software on my computer. Don’t do my mistake, just inter the number given to you once and you’re all set to a whole new world of easy work on the computer. The service member agent had been trying to reach me via email to help me with the instructions to finish the installation to the program. But I have been busy and haven’t had the time to sit down to respond to the them to finish it. And that what really is nice about the whole thing. They are determined to make each one of us have a peace of mind knowing they are there to assist us with our computer work just because we purchased their product.

What I like about this product is that every time I renew my subscription, if there was an updated version, I automatically receive the newest version. If you buy the product outright, you're stuck with the version you purchased.
