With this feedback, Microsoft came out with Office 365 (subscription based only) versions and Office 2016 versions sold at a one-time retail price and you own it forever. There is a ton of options at a great price, and easy to use.

It works so much better and has no ADs! Why did I not buy this years ago?!

However, MS just doesn't get the fact that they DON'T have to move things / change locations of functions just to make it different. It's a real pain to have to figure out where features (drop-down menus, etc) are located every time they issue a new version of software. In addition, it seems they want to control everything you do (automatically) without any input of confirmation from you - there are a lot of people that don't want MS controlling their lives. The biggest problem I've encountered is the color contrast of most of the screens - you use to be able to make the contrast obvious and not so light. Also, it's impossible to search or look at anything on the internet without "pop-up" ads showing on every screen/page about things that you might have looked for - we looked for it once, it doesn't need to keep showing up every few minutes for the rest of your life (I have not been able to turn it off or figure out how to clear it from memory).
