I do not like that you have to pay a monthly fee for office now so a free year was nice.

It's something I have to have so I do not have the choice to not have it. In previous purchases I always bout lifetime version and had it pre installed I would probably have preferred that option even if you don't get all the updates

I specifically said I did not want to renew annually and unknowingly got home with this product that the salesman rang up and I found out after installing.
