Not bad, but doesn't work for me.

Saw this at a business I frequent, so I thought I would get one (actually bought two). Great design in that it turns off when in "flattened" position, and stores great in soft tablet case.
The problem I had with it was to get it to right click, I had to press the very right hand edge of the surface area. Pressing anywhere else away from that right edge produced a left click. Very annoying. The other "con" was that "scrolling" with this is produces much less travel than a scroll wheel. Wearing my index finger out moving up and down a document or page.
I decided to return both of them and go with a more traditional style mouse. Too bad, too. Really liked the slim design, and I would have learned to live with the scrolling difference.
Three stars because of the great design. Otherwise it would only be one star.

Great mouse, comfortable. The battery lasts long. Easy to set up. You do not need to occupy your usb port. Smooth movement. Soft material. Very travel friendly. Worth the money.

this mouse is so compact, light and easy to use and store. I enjoy it's different abilities to use with my surface pro. I love the fact that it comes in different colors and it matches both my surface laptop and my wireless keyboard.

This is my second Arc Mouse, the first one went two years before the click switch gave out. I love the ability to scroll my screen horizontally and vertically without letting go of the mouse. The touch functions are smooth and consistent. The ability to turn it off by flattening it makes battery life very long, and it travels very easily. No cord, no USB dongle - just pair it and it works immediately.

A fun gadget, easily operated and smoothly operating (albeit a tad on the expensive side), the mouse is definitely worth buying to complement your Surface Book. Cost aside, it beats the heck out of the trackpad mouse built into the Surface laptop.
Thanks for letting us know how you are liking the Surface Arc Mouse. We work hard to make sure our Surface accessories pair flawlessly with your favorite Surface devices. We're so glad you are having a smooth experience!

The thin stylish design and light weight make this an excellent mouse for traveling, when I can overlook some functional shortcomings. I would not want it for everyday use due to the frustrating emulation of a scroll wheel. A real wheel works so much better. In order to right-click, I have to lift my left finger totally off the mouse. If my left finger is contacting the mouse, a right-click will register as a left-click. Software permits fine-tuning the performance. It fits my hand and is a fun novelty but I think I would prefer the Microsoft Surface Mobile Mouse. Bluetooth operation is excellent; no concerns.

Very slim, light, and convenient to carry anywhere you go. An elegant mouse that snaps flat to turn off and turns on the moment you bend it. Suggest buying a case for your Surface Arc Mouse to keep from accidentally turning on and protect it.

Love this mouse - bought for my wife, so I can get mine back.
Microsoft "improved" the Arc Mouse by removing the scroll stripe. That is now built into the entire front end of the mouse, which takes getting used to if you know the older model, but still great for travel (folds flat).

Awesome mouse! I love its simple design and lack of scrolling wheels and extra buttons.
It works well in tight spaces and folds flat for transport. Battery life has been excellent!

Mouse is sleek for travel or storage, simple to connect and operate and is best for personal use. It could be used for business purposes if you don't require extensive use of the mouse. My wife has loved her for many years; I replaced my old mouse with it and have been equally pleased.

This is a nice mouse, I especially like the size and the portability it really makes it easier to travel with and the Fact that I wirelessly connect through Bluetooth is convenient.

It's ok. I bought it because I got the violet windows laptop and I thought it would pair well. I don't love it, I guess the best part is that it is easy to carry and fits into a laptop sleeve that has the compartments for extras. I don't find it as comfortable as other "traditional" mouses. I will need the mouse pad with wrist foam for this arc mouse.

It’s a little weird to get used to as I am used to a claw grip, but after adapting I must say it is a very good mouse and a worthy rival—in functionality at least—to the Apple Magic Mouse Multi gesture is a nice feature and snapping flat makes sure it keeps a low profile in my EDC bag.
I was a little disappointed in it not having a rechargeable battery but to be completely honest, it has a bazillion hours of battery life. (Not literally, but it’s a lot.) The only real downside is the beefy price tag

Microsoft Arc Mouse is comfortable and large to not give your hands carpel tunnel and cramped feeling from using portable mouse. Much better than other portable mice. Highly recommended.
