Ergonomically speaking though, this is not the most comfortable mouse to use especially for prolonged periods. You might also check on its compatibility with laptops. Sometimes does not play nice with non-Surface laptops

As far as the compatibility goes, please be aware that the Surface Arc Mouse require Windows 10 on a Bluetooth 4.0 Host to connect. I've seen negative comments about the weird ergonomics of the void on the underside and comments that say it's not a big deal. I'm with the group that doesn't like that there's no place for my thumb to press on and think the people who say it's fine are lying to themselves and trying to justify a relatively expensive mouse. The other annoying thing is you can't "right-click" with your index finger resting on the pad or else it just registers as a "left-click". In all, it's a beautifully looking mouse with great transportability but in terms of ergonomics and use, it is severely lacking. Might consider it if it was half the price.

This mouse works great. The only issue I have had is that it sometimes doesn't start working until I log in to my surface pro. Otherwise, it has been great.

It is reliable and comfortable to use even in tight spaces. The Arc Mouse Bluetooth pairing was easily accomplished with the new laptop that uses the latest Bluetooth specifications. This happened to be an open box purchase. So far, no issues in over 1 month of usage. I do not anticipate any based on the previous purchases of Arc Mouse products. The Arc Mouse is easy to transport, which is a benefit while traveling.
