Rugged, Compact, and Performs Well!

This is my 4th or 5th Arc mouse, as I keep one at my office, home office, and briefcase. They last me 3-4 years each and stand up to rugged work conditions, and pack away so compactly and efficiently, yet feels like a "standard" mouse.

This is the best daily driver for anyone who relies on a portable mouse. It turns off when bent flat, and there's a magnet that keeps the mouse in place when walking around with your laptop (depending on the model & magnet placements, i guess).
Anyway, it's an all-around great product. The only downside is that it doesn't support many Mac guestures that some might rely on such as switching desktops, etc.

Always disliked the builtin notebook mouse. Just not response of enough. This is a great alternative that folds flat and goes easily enough in shirt/cargo pants pocket.

This is such a great mouse, I wanted something that was small and compact, that I could carry around with me without it being so bulky. I love how easy you can turn it on and off and that its as slim as my phone, so it fits anywhere. I loved it so much I have 2, one for work and one for home.

This is truly a very nice mouse. There have been some negative reviews regarding the right-button functionality of this mouse since you have to have your left finger off the touchpad for the right click to function, but I've found that once you start using the mouse, it's really not that bad. I recommend you try it out if you can before you buy it, but regardless, it really is a pretty mouse with high quality materials worth the price.
Regarding battery life; I've been using the mouse every day for about four weeks and battery life is down to 84%, so that's around 4% per week, which would set battery life at right around 6 months. get yourself some rechargeable batteries at BestBuy and then battery won't be a problem ever again. which btw. I'm happy that it doesn't have an internal battery, it's just one less thing that could break in the mouse.
Regarding gaming, for a casual player this one has been working great. I don't really play first-person shooters, so I won't be able to tell you how this mouse performs with those games, but I've been playing stuff like league of legends perfectly without any problems.
There are some other great functions of this mouse like the horizontal scrolling, and the fact that it snaps flat for better carrying ability. Also, I recommend you download Microsoft mouse and keyboard center which will allow you to customize sensitivity and button functions.
All in all, if you're looking for a premium mouse good enough for many things, this little one is great

Expensive and limited features but great if you are on the go. Folds flat and stores nicely in a computer bag. Like the original Surface Arc Mouse a little more but this one works almost as well.

I love this mouse. small and compact. folds flat to turn off and to carry. great addition to my surface computer. If your like me and "palm" your mouse you will absolutely enjoy using this one. feels great in the hand. Bluetooth connection is fast and easy to setup with just a click of a button on the mouse. This is a second one for me. I have one on another computer also. It is a little pricey but I got on sale

The arch of this mouse is deceptive. it's not meant for your hand.
My favorite thing about this mouse is its scroll functionality. It's super easy to scroll vertically and horizontally, navigating websites and documents.
The clicks are manageable if you click on the corners. Otherwise, they're too heavy.
Initially, I thought it was too uncomfortable for sustained use. It's wider at the palm than the chunky Logitech MX Master Mouse series. However once I opened up an Excel file and began to tinker, I found myself using a paw/pencil grip-- My palm didn't rest on the arch at all.
Grip: I held the mouse between my thumb and third finger, and kept it steady with my middle finger on the right click. My pinky finger actually rested underneath the mouse, and the third finger was comfortable along its under-slant.
It's like ignoring the mouse and pointing with your index finger.
I tried this mouse in both Excel and Sketchup (quick 3D modeling environment). It's great, but misses the middle click. Not too big of a deal in Sketchup since there's an easily accessible tool that does the same thing.
This mouse is meant to supplement a keyboard. You should only be touching the mouse when you have something to accomplish, and to that end the mouse works well. However, the lack of extra sides buttons means that this shouldn't be your casual or everyday mouse if you're not already a wiz at the keyboard.
It's like Batman. Effective in a pinch, but who really wants to hang out with Batman?

Love, hate, then love again, and then dislike some things but still like it overall.
This is one of the strangest but coolest mice (mouses?) I've ever had. It is actually really small, which makes it uncomfortable at times, it takes quite some time to get used to it in every way. For example, your pinky finger doesn't have a resting place, so your hand will actually get tired after prolonged use - this doesn't last forever, but still. Yet it being so small is nice because it looks sleek, it can fit anywhere nicely, it's made out of a nice material to touch, and best of all, the snapping is just nice.
The three finger middle mouse button function is not perfect but at least is there. For 3-D software or game design it's not the most precise way to do middle finger, and sometimes it registers it as a right click, but again, it is there, and you put up with it because of the other nice things of it.
Overall I would NOT recommend this mouse at regular price, but I definitely recommend it if you can get it on sale or price-matched.

Excellent mouse. Especially likes that it lies flat for traveling.
To operate it just fold it as shown and you're good to go. Also you don't need a dongle. It has built in bluetooth connectivity. It scrolls by dragging your index finger up and down the center area between left and right clickers.

With only one USB port on my new Lenovo I needed to move away from my old Microsoft Arc Mouse to the new blue tooth one. I have traveled with these great fold flat tools for the last decade. Always reliable with a great feel. The new one is also performing well. It has a slightly steeper curve than the original that shortens the back and lifts the mouse a couple of millimeters higher. It took some getting used to, but it is still the same great travel tool.
We're glad that you're enjoying the comfortable feel and reliability of your Surface Arc Mouse. Thank you for sharing your experience with it; we hope it continues to serve you well.

I have used a Microsoft Arc mouse for many years. My old one was still working well but from heavy use had developed grooves where my finger slid on the surface, so I purchased a new one. The batteries last a very long time and the mouse is powered up when in the arced position - when flat it’s unpowered and easy to store for transport. Using finger contact pressure this mouse provides two buttons and a vertical scroll feature.

This is one beautiful mouse. I purchased the Arc Mouse to go with my Microsoft Surface Pro 7, after much deliberation whether I wanted to spend $79.99+ tax on a mouse. It's not your typical mouse and, although one can argue if it is worth the price tag, it's a worthy purchase if you're looking for a sleek look, portability, and ease of use.
It's portable and flattens to fit in the pocket of my backpack and is easy to carry around with the Surface Pro.
One complaint is how small of a mouse it is. It can easily fit my hands, but it can be uncomfortable for someone with larger hands. My other complaint would be how long it took me to become comfortable with using it. I had to adjust to the lack of normal mouse features on the bottom of the Arc Mouse, but it took a week to adjust to it and now it's weird to use a normal mouse. The Arc Mouse doesn't always work on every surface as it claims. I tend to use mine with a mouse pad and occasionally on a wooden table. It has accurate tracking features with no delays and after adjusting to using it, it's great with games or cutting and pasting into a document.
It's a breeze to sync with your computer. There are slight connectivity issues from time to time. The Arc Mouse randomly disconnects from my Surface Pro and I have to push the button on the back of the mouse to re-sync it.

Works great. Doesn’t use much battery, it’s slim and easy to tuck in a bag. Haven’t had any tech issues with it either. Has a bit of a weird shape for my had but can easily get used to

This type of mouse has been around for years, so, in general, this should not be a new concept. However, the new thing for me is the fact that it doesn't have a USB adapter of any kind, connecting to the device directly via Bluetooth adapter. This is VERY useful for the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 I have, which has only one port; it means I can use the Bluetooth keyboard, Bluetooth mouse, and still have use of the one port without plugging in the 4-port USB adapter. So far, I'm loving it!
