I had another mouse, but since I have this compact Surface Pro 3, I wanted a compact mouse. This is great. Works great and is small. Even better - it's Bluetooth, so I have an open USB port now.

I buy these for all of our new hires who take their surface tablets on the go. They have great battery and are comfortable for a wide variety of situations- in the office or otherwise.

Pro: Comfortable to use and easy to carry The battery really lasts. Con: Sometimes need to bend it again to make sure the roller is working. But not very often.

Love how the mouse folds flat for storage, then turns on when you fold it out for use. Comfortable and responsive. There's some built in haptic feedback when using the center scroll strip (meant to replicated the clicking of a wheel). I don't love that, but everything else is first rate.

    Portable bluetooth mouse

Great mouse for Surface; Bluetooth keeps your USB open, and the "fold-flat" design makes it amazingly portable. Fits in my Surface sleeve along with the charger. It is pricey, but if you want a highly portable mouse that will not tie up your USB port this is the way to go.

    Best Mouse Every

This is the best mouse I have ever bought. Its super portable, to turn the mouse off you smooth out the arc, this also makes it flat for easy transport. The blue laser tracks on pretty much every surface I tried it on. Its made of great, sturdy materials ...The color perfectly matches my surface pro. Only downside is that it is a bit pricey, but after a few days it becomes clear that its worth it.

Great Mouse But Not Needed on Surface Pro 3

I purchased this when I bought the Surface Pro 3. I didn't like the idea of having to use the track pad on the keyboard (separate purchase as well, Surface doesn't come with a keyboard), thus I ended up purchasing this before trying the stylus. I have used the mouse maybe three times, I use the stylus for everything and it is much faster than any mouse. Pros: Doesn't require the use of USB port, connects via Bluetooth. To power off, lay is flat, no curve. Fits perfectly into laptop bag, or other small bags because it can lay flat, and not bulky like a traditional mouse. Cons: Not really needed unless you don't like the stylus. Otherwise it is a great device. Overall: If you like the stylus you won't need this. If purchasing a new device wait until you've had time to get to using the stylus over the mouse and decide if it is needed after that.

Portable mouse w/ great potential that disappoints

First off, let me start by saying that I *REALLY* wanted to love this mouse. I also do not favor companies- I try them all and stick with what *I* like, not with what's trendy. With that out of the way, I got to say I was sadly disappointed with this mouse. The design is really great for portability but unfortunately, gets really uncomfortable when used for an extended period of time or constant use. For $70 to $80 that you're paying, you're not getting much functionality outside of bluetooth and its on/off-unfold/fold design. There's no back/forward button on the mouse and Microsoft's mouse driver software "Mouse and Keyboard Center" does not support its bluetooth mice. Instead there's an app in the store with *VERY* limited setting options and no option to configure back/forward. Go to the Microsoft App store and check out their description and images yourself. This mouse also features Microsoft's Bluetrack technology, which really isn't that impressive. It just tracks opaque surfaces better, so if you have a desk with elaborate colors or something that messes with your mouse cursor, this will help. But it's nothing in comparison to Logitech's darkfield technology, which works on everything I've tried it on, even glass and mirroring surfaces. Bluetrack will NOT work on glass. During the initial setup, the mouse wouldn't even respond even after the bluetooth settings say it's connected. As a matter of fact, it crashed the Bluetooth Settings window. I had to restart the computer to get it to function. Please note that this only happened once (when I first set it up) and could just be an isolated incident. Also, when I installed the Settings app from the MS App Store, the app crashed and couldn't recognize my mouse despite it being connected.. Overall, I can't recommend this mouse to anybody for $70. I'm returning the mouse to the Best Buy store at Union Square after I get off work today. It's a shame. I paid a lot of money hoping for quality. All I got was something that felt like it was $15-$20.

    Loses Connection

I really like the design and functionality of this mouse. However, I frequently found the scroll button hard to navigate. I used it for 2 days and it lost connection 7 times, so back to Best Buy it went. I had it paired with a Lenovo 900 Yoga, so perhaps it works better with other BT devices.

This is by far the best mouse I have ever owned. The roller ball has been replaced with a haptic feedback sensor that you can feel when scrolling. You can easily turn your device on and off with either curving it or just by flattening. You can literally put this mouse on any surface and it will work. It's awesome!

I purchased this for my surface since it connects via Bluetooth. I love it, easy to connect to my Surface Pro. The coolest thing is you push it flat to store in my laptop bag and it also turns it off. No need to worry about did I turn if off or not, flat is definitely off.
