    I like this item it is great. Only down is didn't know that if you collapse it battery is safe. If you leave arched it is using battery

    Initially the scroll pads worked very poorly and required deliberate pressure to activate. Within a week of moderate use the "up" scroll pad failed. I've since read multiple similar experiences from other users on several sites. Highly disappointed in the mouse given the Microsoft name, price and appearance.
