||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Microsoft Arc Mouse because I've liked past Microsoft mouse products and because, erroneously as it turned out, that this mouse was specifically designed to take advantage of Windows 8 and its new capabilities. Sort of like Apple's wonderful Magic Mouse takes full advantage of the Apple interface. What I expected was a mouse device that would allow you to perform multi-touch gestures on its top, as well as effortless panning and scrolling in all directions. Instead, what you get is a flimsy, weirdly designed "mouse" that you first have to twist into an arc to turn it on (it's not clear if you must untwist it once you're done). On the surface is an ancient-styleup-down scroll bar that works poorly and makes sounds like a 1980s style wheel mouse. It just makes zero sense to design a touch-oriented interface and then make a mouse without any touch functionality at all. Big disappointment.

Neither I or the Bestbuy sales person noticed that these used a wifi dongle. When you only have a single USB port, a dongle does not cut it. Item was returned for refund.

The mouse fits perfectly and is very easy to use. Love the way it can be flattened to fit a purse or briefcase when mobile with my laptop.

I like the blue tooth part, because no wire. This mouse is not blue tooth, has a USB connector. I took back and got a Yoga mouse. I will give 3 stars for just not knowing, and based off the old one.
