I had some Reward Zone cash that was burning a hole in my pocket and I remembered seeing this mouse on CES coverage and thought it would be a cool mouse for my laptop. Some of the problems that people are having are probably due to still getting acclimated to the unique design of this mouse. I will also have to say that if you have smaller hands it may not be the mouse for you. The buttons do not click easily on the rearward 2/3 and the scroll takes a day or so to get used to. My better half has small hands and said it would be a little more difficult to work on all day than a standard mouse. I used the the intro activities on the Microsoft website to help acclimate myself (included in package). Overall I'm very impressed that the mouse works on almost any surface, many that I struggled to get a standard optical mouse to work on, and the low profile storage that slides into my laptop case easily. I would definitely recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a great traveling mouse that looks cool too.

I find that I have to press the buttons quite hard which is counter-intuitive when looking for an ergonomic device.

It looked like it would be comfortable. Trouble is I never opened the package until the 16th day or I would have taken it back for a refund. $50 was way too much for this. In fact I already have it priced cheap in my resale shop and it's basically brand new. It was not responsive and very awkward to use in my opinion. Only tried it out for about 2 hours but couldn't stand it another minute. Stick with a tried and true style mouse. They are reliable and work great. I would not recommend buying one of these at all. Just sorry I left it sit on my desk till it was not returnable.
