the cover came of the first week my son had it so i had to go and buy a regular one for class

Too small/thin to hold. It feel less comfortable than the regular wired mouse.

Microsoft's Arc Touch Mouse is a great mouse to travel with. It fits perfectly in your pocket, but is not too small that it cramps your hand (Amazing since I have big hands). This mouse also glides over any surface, and works on almost any surface, and requires minimal force to click the buttons. I actually take this mouse to work everyday because I can't stand using the mouse I have at work anymore after using this mouse. The main issue I have with this mouse is that when I left click, I occasionally will also hit the bottom of the scroll pad which is the input for page down. This is really annoying when using Excel. This problem is probably caused because I have big hands and fat fingers. Another problem I have is the scroll is almost too responsive. Going from a scroll wheel to this thing is not as easy as I would like it to be, but I think I will be able to adjust. The only other thing is that the USB receiver is just held on with a magnet. Since I keep it zipped up in my jacket pocket, it's not a problem, but I worry I will lose the USB receiver when it gets warmer out, and I will not have this luxury. Don't be deterred by the negative aspects of my review. I still think this is a great mouse, especially when it is on sale, and my coworkers are amazed by it's folding capability. I have a lot of fun just turning the mouse on and off.

Overall I enjoy using this mouse. The sleek design is obviously the highlight. It's not a "fancy" mouse in terms of abilities, but suits general computer use at work well. Fold flat feature is great for travel and turning the mouse off to save battery life. The scrolling took a bit to get used to but after an hour or so it becomes second nature like a regular mouse. I got this mouse on sale and definitely wouldn't spend full price on it as I don't think it does anything extra that warrants the extra price--just the cool design.

Cant stand it, plain and simple. Hope it breaks so I have an excuse to buy a different one.

This innovative mouse is a great product from the originators of the mouse itself. I love the sleek design and portability, the speed and responsiveness; however, the spacing of the right and left buttons are difficult to use for those with moderate sized hands and you have to utilize your entire hand to have all functionality without moving your fingers from action to actions. This is still a fantastic and innovative product. And the price on sale, as of right now, is a great deal.

I was about to write this mouse off because I didn't see that it had a location to store the USB plug. Then, unusual for me I read the instructions. :) I love the magnetic storage for the USB plug. Great idea. Overall, I'd call this the perfect mouse for road warriors. It's a great size while travelling, and is so easy to setup and use. This is my second mouse though, as it did wear out on the arc after a while. But, most mice I usually wear out just about as quick anyway. The scrolling touch feature is well balanced, and usually gets comments when I use it. I do wish it were a tad bit quieter. Overall though, I can't imagine using any other mouse while on the road.

This mouse is fantastic. It is very smooth and accurate. I havent found a surface it wont work on. the touch to scroll feature works better then i thought, actually i have found myself really liking it. Yes 70 bucks for a mouse seems a bit pricey but when you use this mouse you will know right away where every dollar went. the quality is excellent, no corners were cut. Give it a try, I will bet you like it as much as I do.

I needed a mouse for my new work laptop and wanted something that had a Nano receiver as well as long lasting on batteries. The sales associate sold me on this having me play with it for a few minutes; I have to say i love how it is off when you fold it flat. Cool design and it has been easy to get used to at work (is used as primary mouse) as well as on the go it has worked on all types of surfaces. I am glad I tried it.

This is a great product. No compatibility problems with Windows 7. Plugged it in and it worked. Love the shape and the range. It's the Ferarri. Folds flat to fit in a laptop bag and shuts the off at the same time. Can't comment on the battery life yet as I've only had for three weeks but have used it daily in the office and no problems.

Great mouse or best mouse ever? This mouse is pure genius. The design is ergonomic and has a premium feel. Flatten the mouse to turn it off and conserve the battery but also makes it so much easier to travel with. Speaking of travel the is a magnet on the underside of the mouse where the USB dongle can be 'stuck' to so you don't lose it while its not plugged in. Looks amazing and works amazing. I honestly could go on forever on how great this mouse is. I have seen people write reviews complaining about the touch to scroll wheel. I personally love it. I never needed to press the wheel for pan scrolling but even if I did it is easy enough to double tap the touch pad to use that function. Finding a way to put 4th and 5th buttons (back and forward) on the left side where my thumb rests would be the only way this mouse could get better.

After having the Surface for a few months, I decided that having a mouse would be a good addition to the kit. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I happened to find an open box deal on top of a sale that Best Buy was running. Having the Arc Touch mouse has been all I had hoped for. Was easy to pair with the Surface, is very responsive and when you flatten it, the mouse turns off to help preserve the battery. The mouse has a good feel. In my opinion the purchase was well worth it.

I love that this mouse work on every surface and I am hoping that I just need to get used to it. I wish that it arced a little more or had a larger area too click. It is a little large (i.e. long) for my hand. If you don't have small hands this is a great mouse.

This is by far the best mouse ever. I've used a good fortune on many mice before but nothing compares to this. The blue light works so well on all surfaces and even more so on glass. This new sleek design fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and the light weight makes it easy to store (when flattened). I bought this as a gift to my folks when their mouse broke, but after trying it out, I ended up keeping it and giving them my mouse instead.

I've owned my current Microsoft arc mouse for a really long time. Definitely longer than 5 years and I absolutely love it! Its very ergonomic to use and I love that it shuts off when flattened which makes easier to carry in my back pocket when I'm walking to a meeting. The best thing about this mouse though is that none of my colleagues are able to handle it when they are at my desk and need to take control to show something on my screen etc. They touch it and it kind of freaks them out as if to say "whoa how do you use this thing" - always a good laugh!
