Turns on and off very easy. Takes a little bit of getting used to if you are used to a traditional mouse.

Bought this mouse originally for my lap top. Well I didn't need one for my laptop so I used it on our home computer. The mouse reacts extremely well to the touch. I like the middle scroll as there is no wheel, you just run your finger up or down and it scrolls the screen. No effort in setting it up. The curve it allows you to bend it to fits not only my hands, but both my kids. We love it...

Really like and enjoying this mouse. It is way more responsive than my previous mouse. Considerably more powerful, I have much better control of my pages, clicking on icons, etc. Still trying to get used to the scrolling functionality.

I really like the fact that it is small and folds flat for travel and storage. It has taken some getting used to as far as fitting in my hand and using the hepatic scroll wheel but I am almost there. Still not my go-to mouse in my office but for travel I would not have any other.

Maybe I lack in touch technique, but my only negative is I personally have had trouble scrolling with this style mouse device. And by that I mean the USB dongle type plugged into a desktop all-in-one, and the Bluetooth type I use with my Surface Pro. Still, I would buy again for the combination of style, button action, and believe it or not, because I can tell if I'm wasting batteries from a simple glance if it is in the "up" arc position.

MS Arc Mouse vs Touch Mouse

This review compares the Arc vs Touch mouse. I love love love the concept of the MS Touch mouse. The technology is fabulous. The features and customizability is great. But here are the problems: 1.) The touch surface of the mouse is so large, it leads to false cursor movements. For example, you may unconsciously twitch your ring finger, which is not even used for mousing. The Touch Mouse will interpret this as an input, and the result is unwanted cursor movement. 2.) The thing is an absolute brick, by far the heaviest mouse I've ever had. If part of the reason you are looking at this mouse is to lighten the load on your fingers and wrist, this is NOT the mouse for you 3.) It has a switch, yes a manual switch to turn it on or off. Hello? This is 2013? How about a motion detection time-off switch? I returned this and purchased a Microsoft Arch Touch Mouse. It's much, much lighter. I do very much miss the Windows 7/ Windows 8 specific commands and customizability. But in trade I get a mouse that's easier on the fingers to work with all day, a simplified touch surface that's much less prone to falseing, and although this still has a manual on/off switch, you can tell from across the room what position it's in. With the Microsoft Touch Mouse, you have to turn it upside down to see what position the switch is. Both mice are usable, but to live with day-to-day, the Arc mouse is much less frustrating.

It is just so unique. It is very hard to use. Having a hollow spot under your hand is almost impossible to get used to. The virtual scroll wheel does not work well. Also the sales person told me that it was bluetooth. It is not so it eats the only usb port on the device for the receiver.

This is one really cool mouse. First, it's very compact. It fits well in my briefcase and the way it arcs up into a curve for use is really cool. Next, the mouse is really sensitive and has worked well on every surface on which I've used it. Finally, battery life seems to be good, been using mine for around two months and have not had to change them yet.
