I have been using this type of mouse since 2012 when I found it first time in office depot while searching for a mouse, and ever use it since there.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would rate this mouse a 4 for its ease of use, the way it can slip nicely into a briefcase pocket, and its overall feel. However, it has a tendency for its cursor to freeze in place for 2-3 seconds every few minutes and that can be annoying. I updated the software to the newest versions and it still had this problem. For full disclosure I must say that I'm using XP on my work machine (not by choice) and will try this mouse on my Windows 8 system in the near future to see if it experiences the same problem. I can live with the glitch for now and will continue to use the mouse when traveling.

You might want to download online of shortcut manuals for some special features for AUTOCAD and SKETCHUP uses but they are simple. Once you get used to them you won't want to switch back to old mouse.
