It's better that the older styled computer mouse most people use. You do not need a mouse pad. It is perfect for any surface. Scrolling is easy with the tip of your finger on the surface of the device. Left click and right click is consistent with using the older styled mouse that I do not miss.

Nice ARC MOUSE

The body is straight. You bend it until it clicks in place to turn the mouse on then straighten it to turn it off. Beautiful color most photos do not do the Poppy Red color justice. The colors are a matte look. The bend of the mouse has a nice comfortable feel in my small palm.

No middle mouse button

I feel obliged to lower my rating a substantial two stars, however, for the lack of a middle mouse button or any way to implement one. My understanding is that later generations of this mouse fixed that issue though. Would still recommend to anyone looking for a portable mouse though.

Download the Mouse and Keyboard Center to access the controls for Three Finger Click Functionality, and this may replace your need for the middle mouse button: https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-us/d/arc-mouse.
