It looks really gorgeous, fits well in the hand, and turns off by flattening it. But if you need to left- and right-click simultaneously, it won't work. Scrolling is a bit shaky, too.

Love the ARC Mouse. Really hard to find so I buy one when I see one. My 5th one!

This is the best model of Microsoft Mouse. Arc Mouse folds flat and turns off power. Incredible battery life (two "AA" batteries). Soft to the touch, precise, easy to clean. This mouse is well worth its price..

Would have been five stars easily as there's no longer a dongle it's very smooth to operate but the paint comes off within a month from your fingers unlike all the previous generations. Still using it and works fine but there's a nice line in the middle from my thumb from scrolling up and down where the paint is completely faded. (Didn't get much worse even after the first month and had it quite a while now) oh yeah one other thing that I thought was important this one does not vibrate when you're scrolling up or down like all the other previous generations I was kind of disappointed by that but over time I got used to it. I still think for the price they want which I think was $70 I paid $49.99 that the paint shouldn't come off it should have the vibration motor and they should make skins for them if they're going to make the paint come off that easily so you can change it to whatever color you want and include one free. Also have the custom Chinese dragon version of the previous model that used a dongle and that still works flawlessly.

I want to like this more, I really do. It's a great idea and I love the product design, and its slim form fits great in laptop sleeves or even pants pockets. Problem is the empty "arc" leaves no place for your fingers to rest, so they dangle awkwardly or rest on the mousepad. I've used it for months and it's still not entirely comfortable. Also, the button is just a giant track pad, which very cool that it works as left-click, right-click, and multi-finger scrolling. But Microsoft could have made an optional mode where it functions AS a trackpad, and it becomes an air remote useful for presentations or remote control of a media PC.

Love the re-design for this wireless mouse. It lays flat when not in use. Its also has no spin wheel to move your on screen cursor up or down the page - just put slight pressure on the mouse pad section and it will scroll pages up / down and move them. Sleek and easy to use .

If you don't mind changing batteries this is, in my opinion, the best travel mouse you can get. It lays really thin when not put on so I can slide it in the pocket of a portfolio and I have never had connectivity issues I have purchased multiples of this mouse for other people it works great.

Bought this mouse because I can’t stand track pads and prefer the mouse to the pen when using the Surface Pro like a laptop. This mouse is ergonomic yet still super sleek. I love that clicking it flat turns it off to conserve battery but it reconnects via Bluetooth instantly and automatically when turned back on. Being able to flatten it also makes it easy to slip in my bag with my computer when it’s time to go, and clicking it into the arc position looks cool. Highly functional. Works on multiple surfaces, good shape, scrolls easily vertically and horizontally. Great purchase

If you are buying any non-Apple branded Laptop, this is the mouse to get! Lays flat when not using it and once its bent (on position) it instantly connects and works like a charm. Has a great handfeel and perfect design with ultimate portability. MUST HAVE!

This is my second arc mouse after having the first series for so many years. The minor cosmetic changes makes it feel even better in your hand. Has a smoother feel but all the great features as the original.

My first Arc was purchased 8 years ago and i loved it. Long battery life, great portability, and great quality. I only searched for this same product when the time came to get a new mouse.

Love it! Works great. I love that I can “close” it and the profile is very slim and fits in my laptop bag and doesn’t take up too much room. No dongle needed.

Bought to use with my Surface Laptop and they are a great pair. Love that it's Bluetooth, so no dongle. Works great, and it's super-cool. When I take it out of my computer back and bend it to turn it on, everyone asks what it is. Perfect for my needs - MS office document creation. Highly recommended.

Overall, its difficult to call this is a great mouse versus all mouses. Its just not. It does not feel great in the hands. Does not have all the buttons I wish it had. The scroll pad is not super responsive in comparison to a wheel. And so forth. However, if you want something that can lay flat and go in a portfolio case or back pocket of your pants or whatever, this is the best you will find. It does have a left and right button, it does scroll with the trackpad, and at least meets all basic requirements. Its also light, looks nice, and tracks better than expected. Setup is a breeze. Its hard to say I would buy this again. It does solve a problem. But, I like having my forward/back buttons. I like wheel scroll left and right in addition to up and down. If you can live with the obvious lack of buttons and whatnot, then you will appreciate this product. Dont expect a full featured mouse.

I’m happy about the size of this mouse, it’s perfect for traveling, and it quickly turns off when you flatten it. When you slightly bend it , It turns on and it seems to have the right arch for my wife’s carpal tunnel pains. It works with great ease, and is very responsive.

Awesome mouse for travel. Folds flat for a reduced foot print inside your laptop bag or back pack. Bluetooth is near necessity as many laptops now are coming with very few usb ports, so being able to connect via bluetooth is a huge plus.

I bought this mouse with my surface book and I love how it functions. It has a slick design when you flatten it and will fit in even the thinnest space of your laptop sleeve of briefcase. Fold it up and your ready to get down to business. Excellent idea from Microsoft!!!

I thought this would be a pain but figured I’d try it since I caught it on a sale. It’s been great for traveling and better than I expected.

Love this mouse. Like the fact that when flattened it saves battery life and is easier to transport than any other mouse. Shape is great for the hand.

We needed a new, compact mouse for a new computer, and I've used the Surface Arc Mouse for a couple of years and really like it. So we bought one to go with the new computer, and it's a really good fit. The snap flat feature is perfect for packing into a small computer bag.
