I don't like using laptop keyboard, so this little guy is handy for traveling. Just wish it was ergonomically curved, but it does feel pretty comfortable.

like the topic, kept disconnecting, and you hit the fn power, still doesn't connect. Don't know if it's the windows 8 that sucks or this keyboard lol

A Beautiful, Functional Keyboard

First of all, I must say that this is a beautiful keyboard. It's a nice glossy black (which will attract fingerprints very quickly, but easy to clean). The arc design is a nice touch. If you think that this keyboard needs a palm rest, it does not. If your wrists lay on the desk/whatever surface you type on, this allows for a good attack angle. The volume controls are very, very useful.
The Arc takes up very little space. This is why I bought it, because I don't normally use the number pad. It's got all of the keys you need for just regular typing.
If you are an avid gamer, this keyboard is NOT for you. The arrow keys are combined into a 4-way rocker to save space. I personally like this, but this is not a gaming keyboard.
This keyboard has an excellent battery life, and a range like no other wireless keyboard I have used before.

I actually purchased this keyboard off of Amazon and it was awesome to use for a little while...just not with a desktop PC. I knew full well what I was buying and it works great for small bursts but long term, it's just not something you want to continue using. It's incredibly hard to get used to despite the keys being soft and really clicky. It takes up less space than my mouse pad...you cannot make this stuff up.

Great compact wireless keyboard

I love the Arc wireless keyboard! My newest one replaced an old one that finally stopped working, and all I had to do was plug the transceiver into a USB port to get the new one up and working. I like the fact that the keyboard is not bigger than my laptop, which is the problem I have with the full sized boards. This one is easy to travel with and works wherever I want to use the laptop. It is responsive and the keys have a good feel, enough resistance so you know you've clicked a key. The transceiver stores in the back of the keyboard for travel. It lacks a number pad, but that's a trade off I willingly make for its size and portability. I can always plug in my wireless number pad when I really need one. The board has a slight curvature, so it doesn't feel like the roll-up boards I've tried to use and the keys are no smaller or closer together than on a small netbook keyboard. It takes 2 AAA batteries and they last a long, long time.

High quality Wireless keyboard

I bought this keyboard for my media center, looking for something wireless. The product has exceeded my expectations. It is smaller than a full keyboard, but slightly larger than my laptop keyboard. The USB receiver is small and stores in the back of the keyboard for easy transportation. It also came with a pouch for storage. This is very handy for me since you only need the keyboard for the media center on occasion. This is perfect for my use or for anyone that desires a small, lightweight portable keyboard.

I would probably give it five stars but it is very slippery on the bottom and slides around on your lap alot
Here is the good news
It comes with a cloth envelope pouch for carrying. Cut the top of the pouch( the envelope flap) off. Take some double sided tape I used the cheap storm window type. I put a full lenght along the top and a few pieces on the bottom so I could have easy access to the battery compartment. Velcro would work also. Even for just a few strips on the bottom placed like anti skip strips they put on steps. I used what I had and have to say it is a brilliant idea. LOL It changes the whole keyboard 100% in usability for what it is intended to be. Used on your lap. It absolutely amazes me how they did not detect this in their testing.
One more thing but I haven't found any info on battery life. I say buy this product if you like to sit back and type.
Also Best Buy made it a pleasurable shopping experience

Its a very small, thin, and light design. Ideal for the living room or bedroom PC's. The directional pad that takes place of the arrow keys is not as responsive as I would like. I bought this item on sale for $39.99, I thought it was too pricey at regular price. Overall the design is quite appealing to me and the functionality is good, takes a little getting use to. One thing is for sure the build quality is very good on this keyboard, and also the range is not bad at all.

Like one of the other reviewers here, I was in search of a keyboard that would allow me to keep my mouse closer so I wouldn't have to move my arm such a long distance when switching between typing and pointing. Lately I've begun to develop a bit of tennis elbow and the motion was beginning to bother me.
After trying a couple different solutions, I finally decided to try the Arc keyboard. The keyboard itself is very small, though the keys are oddly farther apart than normal keyboards so you'll find your fingers stretching a bit more than they did before but after a day or two you get used to it. The chicklet keys themselves are pleasant, at least for me. There's a small bit of travel on them but enough to be satisfying. It really is like typing on a laptop keyboard.
I've had no issues with dropped or missed keys and the wireless signal has been consistently good. Turning the keyboard on/off is a snap so saving battery life when not in use is easy. Can't comment on battery life yet, but I'm not too worried.
One thing that I've see a lot of people unhappy about is the directional arrow key that replaces the 4 traditional arrows. I expected to hate it based on what I'd read. I'm happy to report that it's actually very usable for me. Definitely a change from the norm, but not an unpleasant one.
The price is a tiny bit steep for this unit, IMO. $60 seems like a lot, I'm glad I was able to snag it while it was on sale for $50.
