It worked fine for about a month but then both the mouse and especially the keyboard would not be responsive.

The arrow keys stopped working after 4 months. I do not think this is a good, quality product

I thought it was a very simple and pedestrian keyboard I will not purchase anything similar by Microsoft other than software in the future.

The mouse clicker is poorly designed and the keyboard is too large. If you will use this as an office tool you will be frustrated.

This item said it would work with a Mac. It didn't.

I had to return a larger ergnomic Microsoft keyboard with a break in the middle of the keys, which made the spacebar really hard to press (the other keys were hard to press as well). It was also just too big for my desk. I returned it and got this wireless option by Microsoft, and it's pretty much perfect for my needs. Comes with a mouse as well. Key presses are soft and smooth, and has a numpad as well as a bunch of shortcut keys. It feels nice on my wrists and fingers. I have one major complaint: THIS KEYBOARD HAS NO LIGHTS. Meaning if you have Caps Lock, Num Lock, etc. engaged, there's no way to know this except once you use the corresponding keys. It's minor, but actually more annoying than you'd think when you accidentally touch one of those keys. But hey, this is a compact, affordable keyboard and mouse combo, and to that end it absolutely fulfills its purpose. I'd recommend it.

This keyboard was so easy to install and it only took a small amount of time to install. The contoured design helped reduce the stress on my wrists. Unlike other products that i won't mention. Where the process to replace the battery in the mouse was ridiculous.

Over the past couple of days I have been trying out different keyboards as I type a lot at work and I hated the dell keyboard that I was given at work. I used a Logitech keyboard for a while but I was tired of my long nails getting caught between the keys. Then I tried the insignia keyboard because it was pretty much the only keyboard with gaps between the keys and I figured that would work and my fingers wouldn't get caught but the problem there was now the keys were to far apart for my small hands and some of the keys didn't work. So I decided to go ahead and spend a little more money and get a good one. I had this same exact keyboard and my previous job and I didn't remember having any problems. I am glad I spent a little extra this keyboard is by far the best keyboard I have used. Its very comfortable and I have not had an issue with my fingers slipping or my fingernails getting caught in the keys. The only thing I do not like about this keyboard is it doesn't have a light to show that the caps lock in on, other than that I love it.

Bought myself this keyboard 4 years ago and it still works like day one. Very comfortable and smooth. Price, even better 40 dlls.

As stated this keyboard does provide comfort. It seems to be of good quality and should last for years. I like the media and shortcut keys that are very useful. I deducted one star because it doesn't have indicator lights for the cap or numeric lock keys. The mouse glides easily and is comfortable to hold. The tab buttons are a nice feature as well as the vertical and horizontal scroll wheel.

The ONLY thing I like about the keyboard design and layout. and the piano black finish, finger print smudges are all over it, a matte black finish would have been a whole lot cleaner. And the mouse, first off it's to big, for my hand anyway, it's uncomfortable to hold, the buttons on the side are to far forward, the mouse wheel is to smooth and again, piano black!?!? The only reason I gave it an extra star is the fact that I like the design and layout of the keyboard.

I normally don't write reviews, but after using this keyboard I must say, it is one of the most quiet and comfortable keyboards I have every used in my life. I purchased the Logitech 520 keyboard set but the keys felt so stiff and cheap. You can truly feel the quality in this Microsoft 5050, the downloadable software for the mouse and keyboard truly let you customize it to your needs. The only thing i will complain about is the mouse, it feels kind of big and bulky but it works perfectly!

Mouse movement is smooth, scroll function is easy to control.
