This Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse are pretty decent but I had issues after awhile with the mouse. The rubber on the scrolling wheel was getting loose and not scrolling as it should. I replaced it with the exact some combo since the price was so reasonable and it did last over 2 years. Was cheaper than just replacing the mouse.

Hard to find currently. Have owned 4 of these sets over the past 10 or so years. Best for the money IMHO.

Not as stable as the older 4000 model

I've been using the wired version of the Microsoft Curved Keyboard for several years and am very satisfied with it. I bought this version because it was wireless and included the wireless mouse at a very good price when it was on sale. The keyboard and mouse functions are solid. The throw on the keys is a little shallower than what I am accustomed to, but my main complaint with this model is the placement of the left rear foot under the keyboard. The overhang of the rear padded area is comfortable and presents an adequate shelf on which to rest my hands, but the left rear foot mounting hole is placed 7/8" in from the edge, and this allows the front of the keyboard to flip up when enough weight is placed on the wrist rest. If the keyboard is configured to angle the front of the keyboard up, this is not as much of a problem, but part of the "comfort" of this keyboard is to allow the wrists to remain relatively straight both horizontally and vertically, and that requires a configuration with the front of the keyboard lower than the rear, and that is when this problem appears. The older wired model angled the keyboard with a snap on base at the rear that prevented the keyboard from levering up. So, I would still recommend purchasing this keyboard if you wish to use it as a portable keyboard in your lap or with the "feet" placed at the front of the keyboard.

This keyboard good for the price. It's not the quietest and the curve could be a little more, but overall it is very good. It's comfortable and has a pretty solid feel. The mouse is good sized too. I have large hands and was concerned that it would be the size of a laptop mouse, but it's full sized and works well.

It seemed to take a little coaxing to get it to sync with the desktop system that it was purchased for. Also, it was an open box item, and the batteries were weak and required replacement within a couple of weeks of usage.

In addition to the keyboard and mouse feeling and response, I have 4 windows 10 computers I can move the keyboard and mouse between simply by removing the dongle from one of the computers and inserting it in another. Upon inserting the dongle into the USB port, the recognition of the keyboard and mouse is almost instantaneous. Several options I don't think are on the keyboard and mouse; lighted keyboard option, sleep button which I would like but can live without. It appears the wireless range is very good and the batteries appear to be holding up well.

Overall a very nice set. Keyboard feel is really good, the wrist rest has a great feel to it and of course is ergonimic. Mouse has all the buttons I need and a good feel in the hand, although I prefer a right hand only model. Reason for 4 stars is the wireless range seems either short or is subject to interference. Could not plug the dongle into a USB port on the back of the PC. Also, the mouse wheel does not click when scrolling, I prefer the clicks to the smooth rolling.

My arthritic hands have always been uncomfortable on various cheap keyboards, especially with carpal tunnel added. Went to Best Buy and found this Comfort Keyboard 5050. There is a "deck" at the bottom to rest your palms on. The keys work smoothly and are sensitive., so you don't have to press hard. The key pattern is sorta curved, making it easier to type. I am so glad I paid more for this one than my previous ones. The deck is the best part for me. Can't find my camera to show a pic.

The keyboard is really nice with good key action (better than my old microsoft split keyboard). However, I don't like the small function keys on the top row as they are harder to hit. It would also be nice to have a light go on the CAP LOCK button so that when I accidently press it, I will know that CAPS on on. I had trouble getting a steady connection (letters would drop) with the USB connection about 3 feet away. I moved it to about 2 feet away and now I have no problems.

I love the ease of the key board. I like that the mouse has a little weight to it. It is easy to use. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star is that I use to a full ergonomic key board and vertical mouse at work. Since my family shares this computer, I thought this would be a nice middle ground because I have trouble typing on a regular keyboard now. I am happy with this purchase.

The full size keyboard and mouse make better tools for larger hands and this set is perfect. Two suggestions would have given an 'excellent' rating would have been: broader font characters for the keys for low light visibility improvement and, more free movement when initiating mouse wheel motion. It seems as isf there is a built-in braking system making long document viewing more difficult. Other than this, exactly as expected!
