I bought based on my perceived comfort. It's met my expectations in that regard. I find the wrist rest is helpful. But it's a bit noisy so if you're sharing a work space, keep in mind that it might annoy those around you. Also, it takes up a lot of desk space. So, if that's at a premium, consider something with a smaller footprint. I like the feel of the slightly curved key layout. There's a row of shortcut keys across the top in addition to the function keys. I'll probably never use most of them. It came with a wireless mouse that is a monster. If you have a small hand, you won't like the mouse. As a left-hander, my choices were somewhat limited, but I've gotten used to it. I need to find an adjustment for the wheel to slow it down a bit. I think that the adjustment is available, I just haven't looked yet.
