    My old Microsoft ergonomic mouse started acting funny after years of nearly every day use (and occasional accidental floor drops) at my office. This one seems like a nice, solid replacement so far. The forward and back buttons are now on the left side, near the thumb slot, which will take a little getting used to but seems like a better idea in the long run.
