It's nice and compact. I used to use other brands, but I much like this one. I use a mac air laptop and it works well. The initial set up was a bit tricky, but it works.

    Doesn't pair = worthless

I bought the New Microsoft Number Pad from the Microsoft store. I wanted to pair it to my Windows 10 PC to augment my new TKL keyboard. I cannot get it to pair no matter what I do. Fully updated Windows, reinstalled bluetooth drivers, everything short of reinstalling Windows 10 which is an excessive solution to get a bluetooth device to pair. The device repeatedly appears and disappears as a discoverable device. It feels and looks nice and I'm sure I would like it a lot if I could get it to work. It paired with my Pixel 3 right away. I will update this review after I learn how to fix it.

    Worst number pad ever tried

Worked great at first but battery dies quickly...within months. Not the 'up to 24 months' I was hoping for. Frequently turned off when not in use. To access the battery, there is a little pinhole. However, pushing down on it does nothing. The battery compartment will not open no matter how hard pushed on pinhole, no matter how hard try to slide the cover open. Do not waste your money or time.

    strange behavior

This number pad works well most of the time - but in certain apps instead of typing normally it replaces the last digit typed; so in excel if you type 1,2,3 it will just print "3", which is useless
