Classic technology. Go with something more reliable that won't be a waste of money within the first two years of owning it. Even had IT troubleshoot at work because it just wasn't doing anything right; yes, we changed the batteries too. Save the $40 and put it towards something that will withstand time.

Bought this to pair to a surface pro. keys were overly sensitive, one keystroke resulted in multiple repeats... not workable. Replaced this with a cheaper iclever brand keyboard that works fine

Literally never, ever had that happen even on the cheapest of keyboards! Attempted to ask for warranty replacement and windows’ sure is one big swirl of hyperlinks and regurgitated info.
