simple plug and play, easy to setup and use, Great for the low cost

On the positive side, the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 works. I bought this wireless mouse to relieve me from having to use the trackpad on my new laptop. Upon turning on the device, turning it on (it has its own power switch to conserve the battery), and pluggling the wireless transceiver into a USB port, Windows 7 recognized it immediately and downloaded the most current software for it. A configuration screen came up, I accepted the defaults, and it was ready to go. It had no problem tracking on the surface I was using, though I did not throw much of a challenge at it. There was never any loss of connection. The transceiver is suitably small, which made it possible to keep plugged into the laptop even when it was being stowed in a bag. Unfortunately for me, I have larger than average hands, and this mouse seemed to me to be very small. My hand did not cup it comfortably, and I have used generic, non-ergonomic wired mice the fit my palm much better than this device. In fact, I found myself tending to use the trackpad instead of the mouse (perhaps out of habit, but I also ended up preferring the pad to this mouse). Moreover, the mouse wheel was extremely stiff and difficult to scroll. I had to put so much force into scrolling the wheel that I often ended up clicking it on accident, which of course resulted in the mouse performing actions I did not want. I am returning this mouse and hoping to find a larger one with a mouse wheel that turns more smoothly.

purchased this mouse to replace the one I purchased 5 years prior, the other one was still working fine, so figured I would buy the same one

This wireless mouse has been my life saver with the new laptop and Windows 8 software as I am learning the touch screen and touch pad methods.

I am partially disabled and can't really use the pad on my desktop. This mouse works perfectly for me.

I have no complaints about the microsoft wireless mobile mouse 3500. I have had no problems and it is decently durable as well and small and compact. Good price. I would recommend it.

I love the Microsoft wireless mouse! I've never had any problems with it. Also....I don't mind that it comes in colors.

bought one for my mom she loved it so i went and got me one love it as well. easy to install and great price can complain it was a good buy.

Very simply put: this is a great mouse for the price. The footprint of the dongle is unobtrusive and I've had no issues with it at all.

Great Mouse. It's the second time I buy the very same model, I use one for my PC and another for my laptop. It's highly recommended!

I thought it was a very great mouse and it worked very well. It made going to websites so much easier!

The good: It looks and feels nice. Also, the middle click is nice and quietish. But that's it. When you use it as a mouse it's the worst thing ever. Oh, also Bluetrack. The bad: Where do I begin? As soon as I plugged it in, it caused trouble. It misses about half of the clicks I try to make. Sometimes it doesn't scroll, and nearly all of the time it skips around the screen. Maybe there are signal issues, maybe I got a bad mouse, but this thing is terrible. By terrible, I mean it might be the single most infuriating computer product I've ever purchased. And I've purchased parts that were DOA. I'd rather use a Mac than this piece of garbage (and I'm a die hard PC guy, so that's saying something). Overall, this mouse is the worst thing that was ever let loose on humanity. It might've been created by the devil, to lead us astray. I don't really know. What I do know is that this mouse is the worst thing ever in the history of Earth. Also, there's a bit of lag when you use the middle click. Maybe half a second, but combined with everything else, enough to drive you up the walls. I'd use it as a paperweight, but it would probably fail at that too. Other thoughts: Microsoft is usually a good company for this stuff. I think I'll stick to wired mice from now on. At least until they hire mouse creators who know what they're doing. Unfortunately I'm an idiot and figured that maybe it would get better so I threw away the receipt. So now I'm stuck with dropping some more money to get a mouse that actually works as a mouse. At least this one wasn't too expensive I guess.

Was weary about buying a cheap wireless mouse but this is far from cheap quality. It starts working as soon as you plug it in.

Th design of it is perfect for someone who has carpitunnel, it's almost as if it was personally designed for your hand.

Looking for a low cost wireless mouse then look no further. Bought this to replace a mouse on my wife's laptop she loves it for ease of use and the color.

I needed a basic wireless mouse for my laptop. This one is light weight, comfortable in my hand and well priced. Only had it for 2 months and I like it.

Drives installed as they should the first time. Mouse & Laptop paired perfectly & worked great, quickly.
