    The small size was not much of a problem and it was easy to handle. Two problems though: 1) The scroll wheel just slips smoothly without any feel and most of the time there's no scrolling happening. 2) The battery goes down very fast. I've needed to change batteries almost every month, or three weeks.

    My old blue laser mouse which came with the MS keyboard and mouse combo finally died (the rubber on the scroll wheel literally wore out and perished). This is a good economic alternative. Not quite as accurate as the MS2000 mouse but still usable. I'm a software developer so my computer mice get VERY heavy use and I need them to work accurately. I will upgrade shortly to a gaming mouse though as the mouse wheel is not as free-flowing as you get on a more expensive gaming mouse (I'm not a gamer btw) but it's good for everyday use.
