Yuck!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unless I bought a dud- the keys on this board were harder to push. ,My typing went from 55 wpm to 40. I do have slight arthritis- but it may be the key board.

Sorry, I had to return this one.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think the design is an awesome idea and I tried to make it work. Maybe if I kept using it, I would get into a routine, but I don't have enough time for the learning curve.

Not for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard takes getting used to. The style is too exaggerated for me. But it will work for a cheap back up keyboard.

Never take it away!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was doing a lot of data entry a few years ago, on a standard keyboard. By the end of the day, my hands were hurting, my wrists were swollen. I was having to wear wrist guard(s) or athletic tape to keep my wrist in a semi stable position. I just couldn't deal with it anymore and looked in to an ergonomic keyboard. I had a little previous experience with a wave keyboard, so I was a little familiar with the layout - but I had no familiarity with a split keyboard. I opted for the Natural 4000 because it seemed to liked overall. At first, the design is a little overwhelming and there is definitely a learning curve to a split keyboard. Be patient! I generally type 50 - 55 wpm on a standard keyboard and that dramatically dropped when I switched to the 4000. I had to look at my hands and the keys for a few weeks, but once your hands get use to the layout and placement, it's a breeze. In fact, my wpm has increased to 55 - 60. I still have to look down every so often because I may need to find a function key or character key. This keyboard saved my hands and wrists! I get zero pain and my wrists have yet to swell up again. I recommend it to anyone who does data entry and gets pain in their hands or wrist. I will never go back to a standard keyboard on a desktop again. I hate even using the keyboard on my laptop because it feels awkward and uncomfortable. The only downside to this keyboard is... it's wired. But that is definitely not a deal breaker for me. And through the years, the letters have started to wear away slightly, but since the layout comes natural to me now, it doesn't bother me any. I've had this keyboard for at least 2 or 3 years and it works just the same as it did on day 1!

Not so ergonomic
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.doesn't allow you to use the keyboard as you normally would, so you are always correcting what you type.

Don't like at all
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband bought this for himself and hated it from the day he brought it home. I finally got tired of hearing him complain and told him to go buy the Logitech like mine (we'd had trouble in the past with two Logitech keyboards interfering with each other). Well he did and I took this one. I don't like it any better than he did, but it's past the date we can return it to Best Buy so I guess I'll just have to put up with it. The keys feel mushy and it's not very responsive.

Not a fan of the Ergonomic split
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought I would like this due to ergonomics but I didn't like the split in between at all. I got one without the split.

Goodbye wrist pain!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I wanted a "cool" looking keyboard for my new custom gaming pc, but then again since this pc isn't only for gaming but also for productivity purposes I needed a keyboard that wouldn't hurt my wrists after a while and this keyboard was perfect! The leather or faux leather cushion is quite comfortable and soft. The way it's design it is something that you have to get used to but that really isn't much of a set back, so if the design makes you skittish fret not. I truly recommended this keyboard for those who are 8 to 12 hours on the computer and those who have wrist pain problems.

I think people need to use this before reviewing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of my favorite of many of the keyboards that I use. Given, this keyboard takes a long time to get used too, but if you are willing to devote the time to learn this then the experience will be very rewarding. One of the only complaints that i have is the spacebar. If you type a lot then this will be amazing for you as the right thumb gives a very hard plump making the spacebar sink. However, if you game a lot then this can be a trouble area as it can be a tad too heavy for the left thumb to hit a lot. For normal typing though, this keyboard is unsurpassed. This keyboard is very wide so if you have small desk space then you need to be aware of this. If you put on any of the height settings, then the keyboard can tend to set high. If you do not have any of the risers on then the keyboard sits surprisingly flat. The b takes a while to get used too as it is on the left side and you are probably used to hitting this button with your right hand. This is impossible to do because of the way that they keyboard sits. You will find yourself being able to last a lot longer typing though and this is one of the best modern keyboards on the market now. The model m still owns everything though, except in the comfort division :-P, this is where this keyboard really shines. So my thoughts are, if you are having pain buy this. If you are trying to learn to touch type, buy this NOW!!!!!!!! If you want a decent keyboard at a decent price with lots of add on buttons, then buy this. Definitely my top pick for price.
