A great keyboard with a serious problem.

I have two issues with this keyboard. The second and less serious issue is that there is no PS2 version. I hate waiting for the USB buffer (about 1/10th the size of a PS2 buffer) to clear. For gaming, USB is slower unless you tweak the USB polling rate, which has no effect on the buffer. The more serious issue is that it is very sensitive to moisture. Even condensation can kill it. Over the years I have gone through several of these things. I have lost good keyboards to two drops of coffee, a drip or two of water off the bottom of a cup even leaving it uncovered at night while using a swamp cooler killed one. I have purchased three, had Microsoft support replace another two. The quality is just not there. My old black MS Ergonomic keyboard (full sized) is still working and it was purchased in 1996 for $89.99. Be aware, this keyboard needs care and luck to get your money out of it.

I have a split keyboard at work and wanted one at home as well. Although this is not a wireless keyboard (which I feel are overrated anyway) there was no issues with having enough cable to run behind the desk to the computer. The keys are tactile and although they do not "click" gives a good feed back

This was my first ergonomic keyboard. I love it! I have a lot of people who come to my house and are huge critics of the keyboard but once they give it a chance their opinions change. I seriously am tempted to purchase one to hook up at work and I don't even type all that often. People are saying the spacebar is too hard to use but I haven't had a problem.

I picked up this keyboard looking to rid my desk of some wires and integrate an ergonomic upgrade. This keyboard is responsive and comfortable to type with (after a bit of practice). Wireless range is decent too, so you can tuck the dongle to the rear of the computer instead of having it right up front.

This was an upgraded purchase. At first, the keys were somewhat difficult when pressed; however, now they are smooth enough to where I can type faster. Although I cannot seem to make the favorites button work (I'll eventually figure it out), I love everything else about it.

    Great Ergo Keyboard

I purchased this keyboard yesterday because I started to feel initial feelings of carpal tunnel. After using it, I could feel that the design was very adaptable to my workstation. I found that I had to raise the keyboard in the back to put a less of an angle on my wrists. Like most people have said the space bar is stiff when I bought it, and it should become more worn-in as time goes on.

Decent KB but quality has declined since original

This is a decent keyboard overall but it's nothing like the original MS natural keyboard. It's not built to last. If it's used in the home or for light duty OK but it won't withstand the demands of a typist or anyone on the DB all day. It is a very ergonomic, wrist saving design at least.

    Nice Keyboard

I like the keyboard, i'm glad it's wired (how often are you dancing across the room and need a wireless keyboard?). I like the natural form but I wish the angle was a bit more and the space bar was split. It's not horrible but the space bar sometimes seems to stick a bit when i press it as it's one big bar that spans the two sections. It's a minor thing though.

LOVE THIS KEYBOARD! Thought I wanted a wireless but decided to go with this one and I like it just as well. Works great and increased efficiency for my transcription.

Loved the comfort of padded wrist rest and the wavy design makes it easy to rest fingers, however I found the key presses to be mushy and sticky and not very crisp. Which is why I ended up replacing this with a mechanical keyboard

I've used the microsoft Ergonomic keyboard for atleast 3 years as a gamer. This may sound odd but yes, ergonomic keyboard for a gamer logging way too many hours to count. Anywho the only biggest issue I have is the Shift button must be pressed hard or it will or will not capitalize the letter to be capitalized. For me its kind of a big issue for typing wise. especailly in gaming when its used to "run' and it runs then walks intermittently the whole time im holding it. other than that it's a very nice keyboard.

This keyboard seems to keep going up in price, but periodically goes on sale. Wait for a discount and get one. I have 2 and haven't had any problems with the space bar. One con is that I found out that this USB keyboard is not compatible with a PS/2 adapter, which now makes my KVM switch useless.

I started having wrist problems from typing too much. After doing my research, I simply realized that it was how my wrist were contorted from all my typing. After getting this great ergonomic and natural keyboard, my feel great.

The best keyboard for comfort. Even with ergonomic keyboards, I get a light paid in my wrist. I have never gotten it with this one as the palm rest is in a position to keep the wrist at little or no angle.

    Just one thing wrong

This keyboard is great, if the paint on the keys didn't rub off. I've had this keyboard for about 4 years now and I keep it because it's very comfortable to type on. But the paint rubbed off the keys after about a year. For the occasions when I'm not typing by memory, not having the letters painted on the keys sucks. And when my son is on the computer, we have to switch out keyboard becaue he hasn't learned how to type yet. I won't buy this product again which makes me sad, because it's really a cool keyboard.

I have had and older model of this keyboard for maybe 8-9 maybe even 10 years and it broke today at work. I received a replacement keyboard that was not ergonomic and wow. within 5 minutes I was in pain, then it kept escalating and my fingers went numb. went online to Best Buy, bought it for an instore pick up within and hour. brilliant by the way, store is just a few short blocks from the office. using the new one now and it really makes such an extraordinary difference. I highly highly recommend. I type faster, more accurately and with pain. whew.
