Great keyboard for the price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My only qualm with this keyboard is that the letters wear way too easily. I had most of the left hand keys wear to where the letters were almost gone. That aside, the keyboard has been performing admirably. I use it at work and the keyboard is comfortable.

Excellent keyboard!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used Microsoft Natural Keyboards for over twelve years. I have a tendonitis condition caused by over-use of the keyboard and mouse. Using the Natural Keyboard and a trackball has kept my condition under control. This keyboard replaced one that I purchased in 1998. Twelve years of life for a keyboard tells us that Microsoft makes a quality product!

Comfy Keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I find the product itself is great - comfy, types nicely and the noise isn't annoying. I find it ridiculous the price of the keyboard considering they haven't changed much since we bought our last keyboard over 5 years ago and they're the same price! And I'd prefer it to be a wireless keyboard, but I don't like the only wireless model Best Buy stocks.

Nice, Fancy Keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you use a keyboard daily for work AND leisure, like I do, then this is the keyboard for you. Designed to look good and be comfortable, it has a ton of cool features that other keyboards just don't have. Like the special zoom feature, special keys like the, "my favorites," key, ect. If you're into comfort and the latest technology, this is the keyboard for you.

Great Keyboard -
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had three of these keyboards. They are all very good and well designed except the traditional separate keys leave a lot of room for crumbs and debris that my son tends to fill with everything from cracker crumbs to salsa. It doesn't stand up to a messy environment and is impossible to clean - that's why I've had to by three.

Good, but......
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third "Natural" keyboard from Microsoft. I've switched to Logitech mice, but Microsoft has me on their keyboard layout and design. However, I had to return my initial Natural 4000 keyboard because the "n" key stuck. I went online and found out that this is apparently a common problem. However, I exchanged the keyboard and the "N" key on the new keyboard works fine. Also, this is the third design from Microsoft, but there are only minor changes from previous models and they are a mixed bag at best. A few changes are good (zoom toggle, padded wrist pad), but a few changes left me scratching my head (the absence of a sleep button, the space bar, the elevated stand). I have some longevity concerns. I've read about the print disappearing from the keys and the space bar is louder than I would like. All the same, I still like this style of keyboard and prefer it for long typing sessions. Hope that helps!

Very Healthy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best keyboard I have seen for who got some problems with your wrist. Actually after search alot online I really did not find anything such as Microsoft 4000 keyboard. The only thing to concern is its size because some computers desks usually the work stations could be small to fit it but anyways worth each cent!

Great Keyboard! Except the 6 key
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This keyboard is very comfortable and easy to use. The only problem (for me) was the key layout. The six key seemed to me to be on the wrong side. Other than that, it is a great keyboard and I will be using it often. Other reviews mentioned something about the space bar but I have not run into that problem yet.

Not As Good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this style of Microsoft keyboard for many years. Suddenly they no longer make it in a wireless format. Now I can no longer move my keyboard back while conferencing with students since I am now tethered by a cord. The quality of the product has gone down too. The keys are now much louder and the letters have come off of half of the keys after only two weeks! My last keyboard lasted me about five years and all of the keys are still readable. Good thing I don't need to know what letter each key is! I really wish someone else made a good ergonomic keyboard. I am very dissatisfied with this one!

Well made, nice touch, MS quality, buy it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was using a Microsoft Digital Media Pro keyboard was great, but after a LOT of use it was getting tired, but still worked. This came on special and I snapped one up. I like the multimedia controls, mainly for audio, volume, on and off.

reliable keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second MS ergonomic keyboard. I tripped over the cord and broke the first, but liked it otherwise. Usually reasonably priced and I'm not into Bluetooth stuff much so I got another and have had no problems. Just gotta watch out for the cord.

Erognomical Keyboards
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In an age where everything about a computer is going wireless. Why isn't Microsoft taking advantage of going wireless. with the keyboards. The only real dislike I have for this product is the length of the cord; however that is not something new. They make USB extension, then you have all the wire that get tangled up. When I Microsoft going to realized just because we need an agronomical keyboard it does not have to be wired any longer. I do understand the needs of a business that the keystroke could be intercepted simple answer to this is make the transmitting range 6 feet or make both models until we have no cyber security issues from wireless input devices. I would love to have a wire ergo keyboard. What about the rest of you?

it works - but its flaws are way below Microsoft
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keyboard itself works fine. My issues with this keyboard are: So many unused buttons just clutter up the work space. No 'manual' came with the keyboard for programming the keys. Too many of the keys are 'redundant' as most software apps already provide the functionality. Keyboard color: I am over black keyboards. The black shows any and all dust, dirt - anything! Letter color vs keyboard color. I have to have a light above the keyboard for lettering to be clearly visible. Letters: Had it 3 months and the "E" is completely rubbed off. S, D, and C are half way gone.

Not for me....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this keyboard a few weeks ago and I will be returning it to the store. I have RA and Osteoarthritis in my hands and I was thinking this would help.My hand size ia average for a woman as well. I type with all my fingers. The way it is designed, my fingers were all over the place and made my condition worse.I tried it half of a day and put it back in its box.My fingers hurt all night after that. The spaces between keys were too far apart.Maybe is a good design for someone that does not have arthritis in his/hands, but it absolutely did not work for me.

Microsoft 4000 Keyboard
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft to save 10 cents in manufacturing costs, opted for one super-wide spacebar using only one switch. When pressing the spacebar anywhere other than near the center, the side torque exerted on the swich results in binding, requiring excessive force to the point of nearly having to "smack" it. to activate the switch. If MS used two split space keys with their own individual switches, that would have resolved the problem. In all other respects, i found this to be a great keyboard for the price.. Unfortunately, a binding spacebar renders the keyboard all but useless. Until such time as MS redesigns the space bar, I'd avoid this keyboard. In all fainess, perhaps I just got a "lemon", but that aside, the design of the spacebar is problematic and a common complaint with this keyboard as I can now confirm. If MS would just redesign the spacebar as noted, then in my opinion, it would warrant a full 5 stars. As it is now, you would be better advised to find something else. Bob
