I've used several different keyboards in my life working in the software industry. I have carpel tunnel syndrome, and am always on the lookout for a good ergonomic keyboard. I've used two of these keyboards (first one didn't work right out of the box, and the second one's keys where terribly unresponsive). Below are my pros and cons from my experience w/ this keyboard: Pros: Programmable keys; palm rest; added keys near the number pad such as the '(' and ')' keys Cons: All characters are stickers and not painted directly on the keys; key strokes do not provide distinctive feedback; keys had a very smooth surface, which made it hard to find your place at times [i.e. the F & J indicators where not very apparent); very large in size

We've only been using this keyboard for 4 days, but I am very pleased with it. I can rest my palms and use my fingers with the minimum of movement. I was getting achy fingers with my conventional board before, but it has stopped now with this ergonomic version. I note the other comment about the unreliability. Let's hope this does not happen to us! I'm learning to touch type on it, and find it really useful for that purpose. I want to give this 4 stars, but it will not let me give more than 3!!

I really like the curved keyboard, and the wrist rest. The top row of keys is especially handy for internet, email, volume adjustment, and the calculator key really handy.

Very different than any keyboard I have owned after a few days got used to the different shape and love it better than any keyboard I have ever owned.

if you are someone who does a lot of typing like I do this keyboard is great on the hands !!

I bought this keyboard less than a year ago. I do a lot of typing. In less than a Year i have the M A S D F E C V O K either completely worn off or nearly. I live in a very limited budget and I do not touch type. the fact that I am going to have to replace this keyboard already so I can see the keys I need is annoying. It is also very very noisy. I am an insomniac and My roomates are military. They should not be able to hear my keyboard in the living room with a closed door.

I used to love this keyboard until Windows 8.1. Then two things did not work the way they used to: 1) the volume and mute keys no longer work; 2) the zoom level will randomly go from 100% to 10%. It does this frequently with Internet Explorer, but will also do it with Word and Excel, and will do it for the body of an email. Very frustrating!! Microsoft is supposedly aware of this, but not fixed it yet. It has happened twice while writing this review.

Did not come with a manual, Sooo ... Do not know how to set it up and the web site is confusing & vague

I love the way there are buttons for internet browers, calulator, Email Outlook, just try it's very nice, plus the comfort.

Got a KVM Switch and was finally able to use a USB Keyboard, Had my eye on this for a while.

This keyboard is definitly more comfortable to use --NO PAIN!. However, getting the Multimedia Keys programed is a hassle.

There are so many controls you have to get used to what new ones are available. Usable by those who aren't accustom to ergonomic tools.

Bought this in Nov 2018, and it function well for the most part however I always had issues with the space bar because it would require extra force to push down. So today when I plugged this into my laptop, the space bar stop functioning, then the backspace started not working. I called Microsoft, and they told me to contact Best Buy for warranty, or go to the Microsoft Store. They wouldn't give me the time of day to troubleshoot other than to tell me to do a full system restore, and running Windows device manager's troubleshooting. Wasted 2 hours chatting and contacting Microsoft. Moving on from this bad product to Logitech which seems to be more reliable in terms of customer support and service.

This is by far Microsoft's best keyboard. It is very comfortable and I can type well on it.

I got it home and took it out of the box, plugged it in, and pressed the spacebar. It stuck. I can turn the keyboard upside down and it comes unstuck, so obviously it's poor design in the spring bar. Checked google -- common problem. Why is this garbage on the shelves?

i have owned this keyboard for about two years now, and i find it to be a very comfortable and lasting product.

Great keyboard for the price. Just wish it were a bit smaller.

Great keyboard, if you are used to an ergonomic keyboard then this is perfect.

After using this product for 8 months, here is my quick pros and cons: Pros: provides buttons for media player, assignable buttons for different programs, it typed fine. Cons: Wrist is aligned at unnatural angle, software slows down my Mac, takes up a lot of room on my desk.
