Great deal... I have Office 2016 installed now and the updates are nice. It's nice that this is an annual subscription deal with free upgrades to all the newest versions so you don't have to pay several hundred dollars for software that becomes obsolete a year or two later. My only complaint is having to log into a Microsoft account to use it and then they send you emails every day. Good gracious like I don't have anything else to do but declutter my inbox from that unnecessary nonsense! If you have any kind of a life, make sure you go to your account settings and "opt out" of email notifications as soon as you download this. Otherwise, it's a good deal! I had no problems with the download and like the 2016 upgrades.

This is well worth the price since it can be used on upto 5 devices. Both my stepdaughters were heading off to college and needed all these programs, I didn't need them particularly, but after doing the math it was cheaper to buy this bundle package for both the girls, and then also be able to use it myself than it was to buy 2 separate ones for each kid. Was a no brainer to buy this. Have renewed each year bc this 5 device package is cheaper than buying 2 individual ones, so the two that have to have it are covered, then have 3 more access codes so I'm covered even though not really needed then have given access to my parents.

The product has been very reliable and meets all our family needs for a multi-use home computer application. The product is used for continuing education efforts, technical and professional training, work related tasks, and general family usage. Overall, it is an improved version of the MS Office product set that I have used privately and professionally for years. I do not like some of the product feature orientation changes that are a departure from the more traditionally expected feature locations. However, the overall product performance has improved. I am new to the Microsoft leasing approach, but it has not been a bad experience so far.

As you all must know, Microsoft Office is a vital program if you are a student or you have a business. The hard part was deciding on which one to buy. After deliberating for a couple of days, I decided that the Microsoft Office 365 Home program for 5-pcs Or Macs + 5-ipads Or Select Windows Tablets with a 1 Year Subscription was the right one for me! I have installed all 5 between my 2 computers and each of my 2 boy's computers as well as my office computer. The great part is that I can renew after 1 year for a nominal price and keep upgrading to the most updated versions of the software. Best Buy has very competitive prices I must say. Thank you!

Office 365 - The alternatives aren't very good

Office 365 - just about indispensable for working with all the Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Alleged "compatible" products always seem to be missing that key feature you need, or the "compatibility" doesn't quite work. Plus, OneDrive makes it easy to save files so you can get to them from anywhere and from most devices (Android phones, iPads, etc). Yes, it "sucks" to have to renew the annual subscription (you can wait until you find Office on sale somewhere, however). But having the latest version is nice. Looking forward to Office 2019 (which I'll have access to with Office 365).

    Torn but went subscription based

Price was a major issue and I was faced with a dilemma. LibreOffice and WPS Office, formerly Kingsoft Office, cannot touch Excel and Word. Microsoft Outlook is also tough to replace. As such, I had to determine whether to purchase Microsoft Office 2016, the stand-alone version, or go the subscription based route (i.e., Office 365). The decision was easy when considering the 1 TB of cloud space that comes with the subscription based Office 365, but not with the stand-alone Office 2016. Additionally, one license of Office 365 Home allows you to install all applications and services onto five computers.

My Microsoft Office subscription expired, so in the meantime I installed some free office programs. They worked adequately but lacked some of the features that I use most often in my work. I ordered the Microsoft Office from Best Buy and received it on the day they said it would be delivered; however, the product key card's scratch area would not come off some of the numbers. I spent 4 hours with Microsoft Tech (who was very courteous) to finally get a new product key over the phone. I love all the features of the Microsoft Office but it's a little aggravating to spend $100 and receive such a poorly designed key card.

With newt 2016 laptop wanted to update with current business software and also needed some cloud storage. The Microsoft Office Personal is for one person and with it I got all the current goodies like Office, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, etc, PLUS 1TB of cloud storage. Each year I renew Office 365 with Microsoft and don't have to worry about replacing office software. Also, my annual cost for Office 365 is lower by 40% than I was paying for 125GB of cloud storage. Now I get current Office software and 1TB cloud for almost half of previous 125GB cloud storage. Office 365 is well worth the investment for my business needs.

I am not a fan of all the changes microsoft has done to office along with having to pay yearly for it. I know you can get the one time deal but then you get no upgrades (which I am not sure I am going to be happy with having yet) It comes with a cloud but haven't used it yet as I have been reading reviews of it being buggy so not sure. Right now I have been using the free side of dropbox and like it alot. If I wasn't already paying yearly for office that comes with the cloud, I probably would upgrade Drop Box and pay for it. I really like DropBox alot, have had it for 3 or 4 years now.

I have used the previous editions and this was a gift with my upgraded surface pro. It works as it should but as a teacher, I use Google (sheets, slides, etc) more thee days. I hate that with Office you have to spend a lot and have to upgrade each year (if you don't you can't access it) or spend a lot one time and not get upgrades during the year (but you can still access it once it expires). I don't need all the bells and whistles but when editions are upgraded you need to stay compatible to use your files. I'd try the free Google apps before splurging on this.

I had to have the Geek Squad help with the first 2 installs because the URL in the Trend Micro box didn't work. By the time I did my 3rd PC the URL was working. That install was so quick I had some doubts about whether it was working, but it is. It seems like I get a green highlight around most hyperlinks. Not a big deal but green over blue is a sick combination. The install didn't seem to get rid of all the Kaspersky though. I've resigned myself that you can't fight Microsoft, so I'll be buying one of these package every year to keep Office alive.

My laptop needed updating-so Best Buy was offering a bundle and this Office product was included for the 1st year. I appreciated it being included as I was not expecting to buy a new laptop when I did. I simply was bringing my laptop in as it was running very slow. It was recommended that I update rather than repair-so I did. So the free year was a savings to me since when I went in I didn't plan on making a large purchase. I would of had to but it anyway as I have always used Office products & they have always delivered as advertised.

What can you say, it's MS Office. Most of us have been using this for years. I have one major complaint and this has to do with Microsoft. If you own multiple computers, they have really made it a pain to activate and register your various copies of Windows & Office. I can't even keep track of all my Microsoft accounts and email addresses. We should be able to put however many copies of their software that we want under one email address. It sure would make it a lot easier to deal with and update when appropriate.

I found out that MS office (1 PC/Mac/tablet, etc) cost $50 and this packag which includes not only MS Office, but also 1 year of virus protection and wireless mouse is the same price if you are purchasing a PC. In other words it made absolutely no sense to only get the MS Office. Definitely a good thing, basically get the one year virus protection and mouse for free. If you are buying a PC, then I would definitely recommend it, if not then it's a toss up, only if you need a different mouse then the one that the PC may come with.

Having cloud access is convenient. To date, I have used Excel daily and not the other applications. My frustration is not having all commands in the same location. When I use Excel on my iPad, I cannot find "save" for example. And highlighting a cell is sometimes hit or miss as well. This translates to wasted time searching or extra time editing. I have also edited an Excel file on my iPhone. Bottom line: using a computer is easiest for me, but I like the portability. It would be interesting to try the other applications one day.

Microsoft dominates the market for word processing and spreadsheets. This is a Cadillac product. Office 365 allows you the ability to be perpetually updated and the 1 TB of cloud storage is a big attraction. As computers/laptops continue to decrease in size and more and more people are using mobile devices in their daily lives, it is a benefit to be able to access pictures and file from any device, anywhere, anytime you have a connection. I think it is great that Microsoft offers so many options for their products.

I do not understand some of the negative reviews that I have read concerning this product. It works well and flawlessly installs onto my Surface Pro 4. Also, having the full Suite for Office means that I easily copy parts of Excel Files into PowerPoint Presentations. This ability is important to me since I have to make presentations all the time. Although, still getting use to the Outlook Application. It is still a great Product. I have been using this product since it was introduced years ago as separate programs.
