Bought it with package for my surface pro. Like that it was updated and easy to use. What i don't care for is the price of it. Half the time, if i didn't use word, then i used googledrive in place of word. not sure if its worth the money to get..
i would say only get it if you're a studentc needing to always type up essays and all, but if you don't care for low grade word, then its not necessary to purchase this.

I wanted a current Office program with the basic functions that I use--Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. without having to pay an annual subscription fee. However, after considering the various Office options, the Office 365 with annual subscription renewals that can be installed on up to 5 computers seemed to be the best option. I installed it on my new computer, my husband installed it on his computer, and I will install it on my old computer that my grandkids play games on. I am satisfied with this Office 365 selection.

Product was easy to install. Great results with a switch from the older product. Not hard to use as long as you know the older products well and spend a little time getting use to the new tool bars and some of the formats in excel and word. Outlook is easy and great as always. Only reason for the 4 stars is the price of purchase or having to now get a yearly fee if you do not purchase. Microsoft should not have such an expensive upgrade with basically no other option.

I really like the office 365 program, because it is updated every time they have a software update, so you don't have to go out and buy new Microsoft software. I use only a few of the programs, like word, excel, powerpoint. I probably use excel more then anything else, and it has worked great. I use office 365 both on my home computers, as well as our small business computers. I would recommend this, it is well worth the money.

I purchased this for the business I manage. It came bundled with a Kaspersky anti-virus subscription & a wireless mouse, so you really can't beat the value. Very user-friendly and necessary programs to have on your computer. As many people have stated in their reviews, I'm not a fan of yearly licenses for Microsoft Office, but that's the nature of the business now, I guess. If you can get this bundle deal every year, so much the better.

Unlike other upgrades and new versions, this on is not so intuitive. I feel like I need a class to be able to use it. It has security options and won't let you save where you want or change what you want if somehow you have triggered one of these safety features you don' need or want. But, all the sophistication is probably useful if you can ever figure out how it works. And, its no good to fall too far behind in the technology revolution.

Okay--- I generally dislike having to lease Office 365 on an annual basis rather than buying it outright. But that's Microsoft's decision, not Best Buy's. What I loved was that BestBuy was offering it for $30 less than any place else.....so I broke down and bought it. Naturally I love the programs in it (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint etc) and am happy with my purchase. Once again BestBuy comes through price-wise!!

You get more than what you think

You get more than what you think. Not only do you get five activations on PCs, Mac's, & Smart phones. You also can share it up to five other Microsoft users. Giving each of those users five more activations. Simply said, five users times five activations equals a total of 25 devices. So if you have a family use this wisely – a lot of people will buy one of these for each person of their family which is a waste of money.

Product is excellent however can't recommend buying from Best Buy after how long it took to get them to fix it after it said my subscription expired. Nobody wanted to help me and they kept saying that it was the other companies fault and no one wanted to fix it. However after hours and hours one of the Best Buy representatives was able to get me a refund. I then bought it directly from Microsoft and it has worked great since.

The one-year subscription Office 2016 for my new Yoga overlapped the remaining subscription on my old Thinkpad. Without guidance on how to transfer my old subscription to the Yoga, I am now paying twice for the period being overlapped. I don't know if some discount is possible, but I would hope that, next time, this very normal situation could be handled simply and routinely (probably assisted by Microsoft).

Best overall value for MS Office online. The user interface of Office 2016 closely resembles my Office 2010, so there wasn't much of a learning curve for me to adapt to this new version which is compatible with Windows 10. I installed this package for a friend on his new Toshiba Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit Intel i5 laptop computer. The computer has 8 GB of RAM. Except for Outlook, these programs run just fine on that computer.

we've used Office just about forever; despite what the Apple salesman said, words, numbers, and mailbox aren't really good enough to switch to after you've used Word for 25 years.....And, like word 2004, the last version I had, this one has so much stuff in it that it'd be a miracle if I use 5% of it == and knowing that all that extra is there makes this the program of choice. Plus, $22 per year per machine? Not bad, eh?

The only office suite that matters

This, MS Office, will be the only office suite that I can see myself ever using. The number of tools and applications available to the user is second to none. I think Excel, Word and Powerpoint for example are far ahead of all the competitors. The number of applications is also very impressive especially with the more expensive options. Although I think the prices are fairly solid - of course they could be cheaper.

This is a good product, works like regular office except you pay a monthly fee or a 1 year membership to it. The advantage you always get the most up to date version. The disadvantage, you may be fine without the latest version and thus paying a continuing fee becomes costly. I would say think before you buy and see if a full MS office suite that you pay for once would be a better choice, pros and cons about even on either.

Nice offer , office 360 is Microsoft subscription-based productivity suite .
Microsoft office 360 includes Word Excel and other programs that I use on a day-to-day basis. Microsoft 360 platform allows sharing data between several different devices .including windows 10 based PCs, and Apple iOS. This allows me to work mobile with my spreadsheets and documents. The wireless mouse is a nice plus and it Works great!

I'm not always a fan of subscription models, but I will say it's nice to have Word and Excel on all of my devices, without worrying about whether different versions will play nicely with each other.
Installation went fine on both the Windows 10 and Mac OS X Sierra machines, although after a couple of weeks Excel stopped working on the Windows laptop. A restore of Office solved the problem, with no issues since.

I purchased this for my daughter for college so she could work cross platform and cross device. Since I wasn't sure what she would be doing next year or her school would be with software it gave her what she needed to get going quickly and take her work easily with her with all components of Microsoft office fir Mac got her tablet and Windows fir her laptop. Had great promo with her laptop purchase!

Was very comfortable with Outlook 2010. Had been using it for a long time. Outlook 365 looks allot like 2010 but all the fonts were for someone with Hawk eyes and other settings to try to image look of 2010 version. Has taken a while to get fonts correct. I'm sure will just love it over time like O2010 as we get more comfortable with it.

Personally, I like my apps on my hard drive. I purchased Office 365 with my new computer and made the decision to go with the cloud. I feel like I lose control of my data but this seems to be the direction of the future. I've always liked the integration of different applications (word, spreadsheet, powerpoint, etc). Now that I am retired, using the same applications at home that I had used at work is great.
