If it didn't come preloaded on the computer, then you used to be able to buy the programs you wanted and have said program for the life of your computer. Now, I'm forced to get them all and pay for it all the time. The program itself is great. It's having to do a subscription service that annoys me to no end.

Stores seem to think everyone knows how to do all this tech stuff. I am 82 and not tech savy so I have lots of good things in here but don'know how to use it. How about some classes? There must be others like me!

I didn't really have much of a care about any of the features this came with as I already had a 365 subscription through my university. However, I can now say that I'm glad I decided to go ahead and purchase the newest personal version with the full suite of features. It has helped me be more productive with work and school than I ever have been, and the windows defender security program has helped me out immensely.

I program this on my Surface tablet I just purchased less than a month ago. So when it asked to install the app I was thinking each will show up on my Surface as apps. However, once I got past that everything is good. I have only used Word and Excel so far. Another thing is that it keep saying Skype is working in the background or something. I'm not interested in using Skype. Not sure what that mean either.
