What they don't tell you is that, as soon as you purchase it, a usage time clock starts. So, three weeks later when I asked for a refund, they gave me a "prorated" one; i.e., about $20 less than the purchase price, although I had never activated the application.

After trying several times I will have to take my laptop to the geek squad. Hopefully I will not incur additional fees. I'm sure the product is ok but I need to get past this road block. Another family member has had to do the same thing. So I wanted to put this comment in.

We're sorry there's an issue using Microsoft 365 Personal. Once the Product Key for this product is associated with your Microsoft account, you don't need the code to manage the software. You can sign in to account.microsoft.com to install and manage Microsoft 365.

Salesman described that any updates would be automatically offered to me (thru subscription) rather than needing to purchase a new program- every coupla years... that sold me! Plus- I need Publisher- and is quite a bit more for the stand-alone programs.
