My purchase of the Surface Book Pro came with a 12-month license for the latest Microsoft Office bundle. The applications take a little getting used to compared to the older versions offered through my employer but they are the typical, strong, high-performing applications we've come to know and love. No issues here.

I have used the MS Office products for a couple of decades now. I am a power user who takes advantage of advanced Excel formulas, Visual Basic, and other advanced features. The functionality of the product remains strong but really has not progressed appreciably in several versions. Instead, Microsoft seems to just redo the user interface in order to essentially repackage existing functionality for additional fees. I feel like the newest version makes poor use of color, making it much harder to differentiate files of different types and read Outlook messages, in particular. Also, the save as functionality now complicates folder navigation. It is too bad that viable alternatives are not available.

I would have given this Five Stars if it weren't for the fact you are basically just renting a program that used to be free on your computer purchase. Other than that, it works as it should.

Meh. I would definitely love to see a permanent version of office in this price range.

After considering my options of a one year subscription or buying office outright, I chose the one year subscription because when Microsoft decides to come out with a new version of Office, mine will automatically update, but with buying Office outright, I would have had to go back into Best Buy and buy the updated version.

My granddaughter uses it for college and she loves it

Not sure why I bought it. I still haven't installed it. I hope I get some use to it.

So far this computer has done every thing I have needed it to do. I loving having the speed and power of a computer with the convince of a tablet (when needed). The only complaint I would have with the product is the lack of connections ie. usp ports and no SD card port.

Office 365 was a great purchase for me. I like how it renews itself after a year. I do not need to worry about my purchase expiring and I am able to continue to work stress-free. I also like that I am able to use the programs across my other devices, such as phone and tablet.

bought new laptop and needed "Microsoft office", was told this is what I needed and only $40 with my purchase. did not realize until installing tha it was only a year subscription :-( not too happy bout that

I hate being held hostage by Microsoft. Every year I have to renew it. Corporate greed at it's finest!

Smooth, quick, and more capable vs. previous Microsoft office. Unfortunately, day to day is not very user friendly, outlook calendar and managing draft messages is very-much non-user friendly & confusing.

Its great cause it has all of the software included.

All of today's computers deserve to have the Office 365 product. Whether you are crunching numbers, putting together an amazing project, and/or want to present yourself in professional manners, Office 365 does not cost a lot to purchase nor have installed.

Perfect to work from home or on the go and easy to use

I hate this their is an auto renew on this. Wish it had other features.
