My only issue is I don't like how the subscription is only for a year. For the amount I spent it should be for lifetime use. The majority of computer users own a PC that operated on a windows OS. I don't particularly find this subscription fair.

Thanks for the review. Office 365 Personal has some great features including the entire Office suite of tools and Outlook. You also get 1TB of Cloud Storage on OneDrive.
We do have a version of Office that only has Word Excel and Power Point as a one time purchase. Office Home & Student 2019 would be what you are looking for.
