With this feedback, Microsoft came out with Office 365 (subscription based only) versions and Office 2016 versions sold at a one-time retail price and you own it forever. There are no explanations and the only hope is to google a question and spend tons of time trying to figure out what used to be the simplest task. Some things which were loaded on the computer by the Geek Squad are there, but NOT there!

If you try to download it the first time and it doesn't work, I had to factory reset my mac (brand new so nothing to back up) and tried again at a location with stronger WiFi and there were no problems.

Love the help I received from Best Buy prior to purchase, the sales staff was very informative!

All my old files opened. I knew the old version inside and out. Transition was easy, navigating very slight learning curve. Very happy with the software.

Needed to re-activate. Learned this after the fact- after purchasing a new Office 365. This annoyed me.

It's a No Brainer. We were also able to add it, for free, to a laptop that did't have Office. #lovingthenewtechnology

Nobody likes to expend the entire weekend installing and patching software. This Office 365 was very easy to install.
