Posted .Hello sportasticP, All Office 365 versions include Access 2016. Many of the updates made to Office were from feedback we received from consumers like you. With this feedback, Microsoft came out with Office 365 (subscription based only) versions and Office 2016 versions sold at a one-time retail price and you own it forever. Software is great but if you decide to upgrade to family prepare for a total headache. Your subscription has to be canceled through Best Buy and not Microsoft.

While it was a renewal, it also changed my account to some managed by best buy nonsense which changed how I could view my account information. Had I known, I wouldn't have done it this way.

I would rather just but it as I have in the past. I don't like not having the disks in my possession if something goes wrong. But it is a fine program to use.

I had to call Microsoft a few weeks later because I got a message saying there was a problem. Person helped get everything back in order. It's great!

Since this subscription was for 1 person, Microsoft gave me credit for 8 months on my auto renew family version. I've always been happy with this product.
