So in 10 years, $1,200 for Microsoft word, Excel, Powerpoint, and others. No, those products are not worth $1,200. Unfortately no other product is close to replicating the quality of these tools. Gdocs, google sheets are good for some things but a little riskier from a security perspective. So We don't have much choice but to pay it. Buying it from Best Buy means you cannot upgrade it. So get the Family plan.

I was able to launch all applications especially outlook and link it to my gmail account. Not sure of what limitations compared to the MS Office full version. But seem to be a good product for personal or home use.

This is "transparent." I have a new HP Pavilion and all new software including moving from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I waited to get a mature product. I have not played with EXCEL yet. I assume this will be just fine.

After starting a new job that required knowledge of Excel & Access I was happy to renew the subscription.I have learned many uses for the included apps. Glad I chose to renew.
