I would not use any other software product. The Geek Squad is always helpful and have taken care of my issues and thoroughly explain what they did and how to use. Great Service.

I got lucky and got this for free with my new laptop so if you are in the market for a new system, it might be wise to wait for this to be included so you can save some money. It's also only a 1 year subscription... I don't know what happens after one year exactly (does this stop working entirely?) but I guess I'll find out!

After your first year of using Office 365 Personal subscription, you would need to renew to continue to use it. The renewal price is $69.99 (USD). Should you decide not to renew it, it will become disabled leaving your documents in read and print versions only. You would either need to renew your subscription or install an earlier version of Office to be able to edit your documents.

Office user since 1997 - a worthy successor

Changed to Office 2007 in 2007 that i used until now. Was very satisfied with prior versions and am very happy with this version. The transition was very easy. I'm still testing new features in EXCEL & WORD. Outlook is far superior to Windows Mail - absolutely no contest

Having to renew annually, leading to perpetually paying for software that you need to "run" your life is very annoying (to put it nicely). The product itself however is still excellent!

Buying the laptop itself was quite a big expense so I loved how I could buy the year subscription and save some money now. This was a flexible way for me to get everything I needed all at once. The program itself is just as easy to use as previous Office products and again I've had no issues.

Yes Apple has its version of office but it’s not fully the same feel. This was a much needed purchase to do not just school work but résumé work as well.

By buying a subscription I was able run 365 on both machines for a lower price. I had, and still have, a bit of an issue with Best Buy on the cost of 365.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Office is such a standard for anyone who is a business professional, I am just not sure about the whole s/w subscription process yet and whether or not I will end up spending considerably more than in the past. At home, I rarely upgrade software like office, not that important to be running the latest and greatest. We will see.... That said, was easy to get started and get it up and running.

And has taken me some time getting used to these programs once again. So far it has been good.

It runs just like the older versions but it allows you to access it online, store files in a cloud, or just work offline. There's nothing to adapt to other than that (and it's an optional feature). Good price for everything it includes. There's no installation disk to worry about. Just sign up online and enter your verification code.
