As far as I know, you will need this for Windows 10 to use your old email address. You need Outlook to use your old email, and that comes with this program. Im not impressed with Microsofts decision to do this but the program isn't bad. I only recommend this to a friend because of the need for email. Please do more research in regards to the email issue.

The problem is that after you pay for it, you don't own it as before! Everything is stored on the cloud, but you don't always have access to the cloud, so what do you do then? It's just a way to make you think the software is cheaper but in reality Microsoft is getting more from you for the new leases every year and eventually from your 'cloud' storage fees!

Didn't activate it right away and when we did, the code is invalid. We wouldn't have suspected since the silver area was intact. But why? we were happy to have gotten a free office 365 and then this happened? Why were we given a bogus card?>>
