I recently purchased this for a friend only to find out that he didn't want the software. Just to let you know once you purchase, you own it. It's non-returnable.

Had been using MS 2003 which is really outdated but worked. Product has all the latest and greatest features a business or college student would need. More than I require but it is there if I need it. I do community work so some of the enhanced functions might come in handy.

I couldn’t get Microsoft to work so I went to 3 Best Buy geek’s and none could why Microsoft was not working. The 3rd geek bought a new Microsoft 365 and that did not work. They found that my computer was too old for Microsoft 365. He said he would refund the first Microsoft 365. When I got my new computer they said they could not refund so I went to customer service and they could not refund it. They gave me a phone number to call and that person just said I had the Microsoft 365 over 30 days. She did not listen to me that it was over 30 days because they could never get it to work. She did not care, over 30 days and no one was higher than her.

I am still getting used to this one but so far it seems like a decent software. I still don't know yet how I feel about the monthly fee to access the program but I have a year to decide since I got it for free when I bought a computer.

No difference from traditionally licensed MS Office other than coming with 1 TB of cloud storage on One Drive. I'm finding One Note particularly useful for note taking. It syncs through One Drive so I can move between my laptop, tablet and phone always having access. Bottom line - I like it and would recommend it.
