||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Office 365 Personal, 1-year subscription, 1 PC/Mac (Product Key Card) - Android|Mac|Windows|iOS was bought in store and left overnight (actually, for several days) with the Geek Squad for an additional fee of charge to install and put on the computer- so it would be ready for me for school and work. I've had the computer now several months and it STILL is not allowing Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. (Office Systems) to function on my Laptop. For something that I paid extra to have, and have installed by the people who sold me the product itself, it's very disheartening to not be able to use very important, everyday/daily used programs. I've had to since go through corporate and then they sent me to another 3rd party vendor to try and retrieve this product key that I was never given back, told about, or had installed correctly so that it would be already in the computer system (not needing me to FIND it and type it in).

We're so sorry to hear that you are having a hard time with your Best Buy purchases. One great thing about Office 365 Personal is that you can extend your subscription up to 3 years. So you can add the additional copies to your account when you redeem it.

Posted .Hello BBGirl, Word 2016 is sold separately and you can buy it and own it for life. Many of the updates made to Office were from feedback we received from consumers like you. With this feedback, Microsoft came out with Office 365 (subscription based only) versions and Office 2016 versions sold at a one-time retail price and you own it forever.
