Especially since I only use it about 4 times a year. I used to be able to just pay a one time fee. Now they make you pay annually. They know that they hold a monopoly.

Installed with just some snags. Runs poorly

Opens slowly, e.g., 30-60 seconds to open when no other apps are running. Frequently stalls and I have to wait for the color wheel to spin away for up to a minute. Seizes up and "closes unexpectedly" several times a week. Preview year's subscription had the same problems and neither Microsoft or Apple has ever been able to resolve it.

My first time using Window defender 365 so no input. Heard it was pretty good. I also use outlook which it loaded but lost contacts and some folder items.

The Outlook on 365 is not the typical Outlook you may be use to working with. Contacts are a pain in the A** to deal with. In fact there is NO contact tab at all. Spend the extra bucks and get the real Outlook.
