It is Office. Works well. Installation is not very straightforward. Might have been easier to purchase direct from Microsoft. But this was a couple dollars less and all went well once installed.

You save your items to the 'OneDrive' and everything is assessable from the cloud, so you can work wherever you are, on whatever you're using -- tablet, phone, laptop, home-computer. You can share your documents with others by adding them to your team on office.com. The apps that are included give you so much ability to create astonishing projects.

Basically, I purchased a new subscription. It has all of the features associated with Microsoft 365 including advanced security and a personal vault. You will need to renew the subscription within 12 months.

I bought my first Mac and needed Office for practical purposes but also needed some familiarity given this was a new device. I love it but keep in mind the look and feel is a bit different than the PC when using Office. Just keep that in mind. It's not a one for one comparison.

If you are purchasing a Mac you probably do not need Office. Pages, Numbers and Keynote will do the trick and they come with your computer. I would try them out before spending the money on this. I probably will not renew.

I was shocked to learn that this does not come with computers anymore. However, it is a must and I personally like that I can access my documents anywhere.

The cheapest way to get Office on your new computer is to obtain the annual subscription. For any previous Office user, everything works about the same as it did before. The mail application is the most used portion of this package and still maintains a familiar interface.
